| Oh no, more studying, she can't catch a break. I understand her mom's concern though initially regarding the entire brothel ordeal. At this point she would be well aware of the rates due to the detective agency. Knowing that, it is reasonable to be incredibly worried about where all the allowance the daughter is getting is going to. The daughter is studying hard to get more cash -> immediately spends it on her at a brothel. The mom bringing up her background though is entirely irrelevant, but the arc needs a villain. Also good for the dude landing a date lmao. |
