i wish it has more than "lives goes on" and give more conclusive ending, but "their journey to fix each other still continue" also good on it's own. you can't magically fix everything. one of very few highly realistic portrayal of mental disability. truly unique and different experience. 9/10. Asper Kanojo.
"If taking responsibility for a mistake that cannot be undone means death, it's not that hard to die. At least, not as hard as to live on."

Goodbye Asper Kanojo, you will forever be one of my favorite manga ever. Finally seeing this one finish was insane. Brought tears to my eyes, it feels shitty that they clearly got axed and weren't able to play up a lot of the drama to its fullest extent but its still absolutely amazing.

I remember starting to read this manga back in 2019 and I feel both happy and sad that I was finally able finish it. I don't know if the story could have a better ending, because it being a "happy ending" without it being a proper ending is a really nice touch to the theme of "just being alive". It would have been nice to see more of Yokoi and Saitou, but maybe seeing what we saw in the story is enough.

Anyways, I can say that, for now, this is my favorite manga for sure, 10/10!

That was a sweet conclusion to the story, I really enjoyed the time I spent reading this. It’s sad to see it go but it was truly an amazingly realistic story

Finally got around to finishing this manga. I expected some grand conclusion, but I'm surprisingly ok with the ending as is. Though it feels like they got axed and had a lot more planned. A bunch of the other characters and Thier circumstances left to be explored. Especially Yokoi, it felt like he had somewhat of a personality shift in the later part of the manga and we were just about to dive deeper into his psyche.
Tired, always tired!

Pretty realistic but because its realistic that is why overall the story isnt strong enough to keep people interested in it. I can see the unnecessary sue drama and ntr drama to expand the story and hook people up but its not enough. Its like, its not bad but its not good exactly. 7/10

Does anyone know if there was a conclusion to the whole Takamatsu kissing Yokoi? It seems like they just kind of brushed over that aspect.

It was a good ending though obviously axed and left some things without much continuation regarding intention. The ending of the odd netorare-like section with saitou somehow being ok with the sexual interest of tbe guy on the store (which i didnt liked btw). Yokoi also was left more half-baked, as another user said, because his psyche was about to the main focus and his understandable jealously but it just got forgotten. When he talked about, in a moment of the manga about always waiting for someone it was relatable and i was eager to know more about him and his feelings.

But it was a really good manga and worth reading, it is the type of scenario and romance that i am into and that i wish i had in real life. What makes it good is how well enough it does the dialogue and how it conveys well a monotonous type of engagement. Such a good romantic-sexual relationship between two people. A refreshing manga definitely, though pretty flawed due to less development with the main guy and again, the netorare subtext that the saitou really didnt needed to express, though realistic.
