Yi Nian Yong Heng: Chuan Cheng Pian Episode 54 Discussion

Not too bad considering how beefy each season is and the length of the novels (which we're not even close to done with and most of Er Gen's novels are around 1600+ chapters). If you want to find something to pass the time you could dive into the other two big one's by this author which are in the same "universe" but not the same smaller universe so they don't intersect aside from some very minor elements near the extreme ends of some of the novels. This way you don't spoil this one (unless you like it enough to read the novel which is very competent, fortunately, so you would do no harm jumping into the novel as he is one of the best authors when it comes to cultivation novels).

The other two you might want to check is I Shall Seal The Heavens (ISSTH), my personal favorite, though be warned the manga version is trash and the novel is not "bad' but the start is a bit slower because of the MC's starting point. Also the most epic of the sets with best all around writing and easily best fights & cultivation realm breakthoughs (and cultivation in general). MC also is leagues ahead of the others in terms of intelligence and how beast he is (if you thought Bai was a beast Meng Hao gets powers and abilities that completely rofl stomp Bai and Wang Lin). Renegade Immortal (RI) is the other and a much more cut throat cruel world and the MC leans towards arrays rather than the alchemy that Bai (AWI, this anime) and ISSTH's Meng Hao focus on for a different experience. This one has a particular emphasis on elements of "dao" which could be to a person's liking and MC is quite ready to start blood baths (though technically, while he might seem more ruthless than Meng Hao it is actually true that Meng Hao's body count far exceeds both of them combined, even early on but his nature is much more mild than the ruthless Wang Lin). Reading Pursuit of Truth, currently, and it is pretty good too so far but I can't comment too much on it yet though it is a rather different cultivation aspect from his other three but seems to merge into those eventually so probably same universe.

Other good ones to check out (dk if these have any anime or not yet) are Coiling Dragon (great world building, melee emphasis fighter despite mage competency and mage prowess is an exp hack... you will understand later if you read), Emperor's Domination (basically the One Punch x Code Geass mind games of cultivation, other MC's in cultivation stories are overpowered but this dude is on a completely different level though you will see why due to his background early in... consider it cultivation power trip junk food with actual good writing but still you know the end result so there isn't a ton of suspense besides good writing for setting up everything as the story plays out), Desolate Era (aka space sword master as far as I'm concerned, extreme emphasis on sword dao but good story and great end, one of the good endings), Martial World (great all rounder though not perfect). These are only a bit of a step down in writing compared to Er Gen's novels, imo, but you may like some of these more depending on taste and they're all still great.
