In your opinion who's the Best Character in Akame ga Kill?
If I were to choose, it's gonna be Akame or Esdeath.

Actually, after re-watching this anime, I think that Tatsumi is way better character than I remembered tho. I guess I didn't get him at first time, but now I do.

Exactly my friend. Tatsumi is low-key under-rated in my opinion. He's one of the few main characters where you can see his growth with each encounter he goes through. Plus both endings, the anime and manga ending, add so much more to his character. Hands down my favorite character in this series, especially considering the manga cannon ending.

Honestly, I watched this series 2 full times and I still don’t remember Akame’s personality. She’s just bland. The manga helped a little but… she’s a dime a dozen strong female character. Esdeath on the other hand inspired a slew of character stereotypes. So obviously Esdeath is the superior choice.

I do, I find her relationship with Akame interesting since she was brain washed to believe that anyone who stands against the empire is evil. She views her sister as an evil traitor who must be eliminated for the sake of the kingdom. Also she is adorable and likes cookies.

Tatsumi. Even though they botched his character after the first episode (boy needs A LOT MORE PTSD than that after seeing childhood friends postmortem tortured to death....), they utilize him very nicely as a point of view character into the debauchery of the Empire.
