| Chapter 9 is the last of volume 1. If you are watching the anime, volume 1 (chapters 1-9) correspond to episodes 1-4 in the anime. There is a strong undercurrent of sadness or pathos in this story. It seems as though each character is carrying a heavy burden. It has me worried. I don't like sad endings. |
