I must admit, the premiere episode had a good foreshadowing on the cliffhanger.

As it turns out, the 4 Androids of Cobalt, Chrom, Kei and Neon have something that feels sinister, if pending their registrations that the police has their sights on them. It's unsightly Cobalt's hand pop off like that, and thankfully, Esola's good at basic repair to fix his hand. And most certainly, becoming Babel's Climbers to earn the prize money to fix their home. It starts with a shady choreographer with a stellar record, but if taken correctly, he could turn their lives around for a start.

Getting the action started, and the 4 Androids find themselves not synchronized with the Dance of Victory, in regard to their Body. And when the police come confronting Esola on the 4 of them, the mysterious choreographer helped disguise their true origins and phased them under Esola's ownership. With this, they clear Babel's Stage 1 within their 2nd try, and Esola moves in to the family of the Androids.

Their Climb name: KNoCC, it's a good name. And Esora moves in with them for a new life.

This is turning out be a lot different than I anticipated of the typical idol show. Surprise me more...?

Yup, this is definitely not your average male idol show. So far, this has been maybe the biggest surprise of the season.

Lol at this scene when Cobalt's hand popped off.

I find myself halfway through the standard three-episode test on the fence with this one, still seeking to overcome my dislike of the idol genre. I know, nobody's forcing me to watch anything, ever, and there are plenty of excellent choices out there this season alone, but the robot murder at the end of the 1st ep piqued my interest - you know, this isn't simply a boy-band idol competition drama. It's in a weird, fucked-up future where robots have evolved, the ice caps have melted, and apparently humans are barely surviving? It's really glossy and colorful so it doesn't quite feel dystopian. I dunno.

The robot-murder cliffhanger from the first episode turned out to be a murder-suicide, and now we have a super cool (if not terrifying) robo-cop on the case, investigating the incident and our MCs as they go about their hardscrabble existence, desperately training to win a progressive dance competition in order to pay their electric bill. The music's good. Everyone's lonely. Still not sure if there's enough drama to keep me coming back after week three.

We shall see, shan't we?

First of all I must say that I can't even put into words how much I love "LOVE NO HATE". that's just a straight banger like come on, KNoCC never misses with their songs!
It was kind of cool to see Bora and what he did before he became a climber himself... a little bit of Bora's past is always good and oh my god, Esora becoming KNoCC's owner.............. MISTER NOBEL I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

I'm not gonna lie I bursted out with laugh when I saw Nobel with that silly cap and glasses (give my man back his fancy hat like please) and he really went "how are you doing fellas" mode lmaooo i always expected him to be some sort of mastermind, I guess that part of him never changes lol. also i'm glad the main cast began to develop their "kokoro" and finally started to learn emotions; their relationship with Esora is so cute and I want to protect them with all my might actually.... yeah, they are precious!!

Overall i really liked this episode!!
also updated part of KNoCC's detached body parts:
Cobalt: Head - 2x (Ep 1), hand - 3x (Ep 2)
Chrom: -
Kei: Right Arm - 1x (Ep 1)
Neon: Head - 1x, Hip - 1x (Ep 1)

The cliffhanger last episode apparently wasn't a big deal. The four are now taking lessons for the Tower of Babel. Esora also becomes their owner and starts living with them. Not your average idol show, definitely excited for the next episode

Completely agree. I have been really surprised by this one! I expected your average idol anime with a sci-fi twist but we've gotten something even better 😍

Glad I didn't drop this when they started singing in e1. Admittedly, I skipped their song. I am enjoying the mystery bits and the mysterious choreographer.

Yup, I dived into this in support of Doga Kobo mostly and to scratch that Hypnosis Mic itch but then a man was burned alive by a robot at the end of 01 and I was like "ok what? We may have something special here". Now I'm staying for the android social story behind all the idol stuff that is just there to symbolize their social climb.

The shouted "just love no hate" lyrics in the main song don't sound as dumb now.

Definitely not your average idol show

Not sure if I'll be sticking around for this one tbh. I really like the emotional/drama and mystery parts but I don't really care for the idol stuff. It's not bad or anything, I just don't think it's for me. I might watch the next episode before dropping though, still not entirely sure.

Also they fr got the android sent by Cyber Life on the case huh?

This one still feels weak, but this episode was a bit more engaging than the first. The drama around not seeing Esora anymore seemed odd cus I couldn't think of any reason why they couldn't just... keep being friends after the work was done? I'm intrigued enough to see where this goes that I don't expect to drop it anytime soon, but this is definitely a weak one.

This is the cutest anime, our cute 13 year old college student majoring in robotics finds a family in four ownerless androids and each experiences that pain in the chest you get when parting with your dearest family, such a cute episode. Also they finally found a choreographer so KnoCCs has the moves now. Really good.

I was hoping they'd live together with Esora so he wouldn't be lonely anymore. Glad they have a new family member now. Cobalt wanted someone to refer to him as "big bro" anyway.

A bit surprised about Esora's studies though. Wasn't expecting the 13 year old child to be studying robot engineering at college.
But now the guys have someone who can repair them, and they also found themselves a choreographer in the same episode. A bit suspicious though. Why would he offer to help complete strangers for free? He did mention working with people who are stars now. Maybe he was fired and wants to make a comeback? I wonder what his motive is.

Oh man... I did not expect this. This anime is more WHOLESOME than I ever thought it would. They almost got me crying, man. I'm too weak. I love Esola. I love the four. I can't believe someone saying "tadaima" can be so wholesome. :')

That white-haired choreographer is sus but not against the main characters. I think he has some connection to them. Maybe their owner is someone that they hold dear (like a family), and now it's Esola. <3

Heyyy this anime is more interesting than expected! There is even mystery! I really thought it would be another generic idol anime but wow! Loving this! :D

Btw that kid already went to college at 13. TvT
