Here it is! A pure Zen and Shirayuki chapter!

What a cozy inn room!
I liked the way Zen loosed the curtain cord so they could have that moment to themselves.
It's like when he drew the curtain so he could have a private word with Shirayuki without Izana interfering.

I still want to know who will be overseeing Clarines Castle if Zen will take over Wilant.

So they got to talk longer than usual but it was more or less the same stuff.
We all know they will be each other's support as long as they're together.
I just wish the scene ended with a shot focusing on their hands intertwined to represent their unity. Or something other than the night sky! XD

Akizuki Sorata! Don't keep us waiting forever! We want to see that proposal scene!!
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.

I can't understand the 'A romance that cuts through fate' this title. Anyone give me a hint.

The tagline refers to Zen and Shirayuki, of course.

They've got everything going against them, Shirayuki's social status for one, the approval of Izana and other nobles for another. The country of Clarines has expectations for the second prince and that includes his bride and eventually his Queen.

If Shirayuki had passively let others decide her life like Raji taking her as her concubine she would've been "bought like an apple at the market" and would have never become a Royal Pharmacist of Clarines, but she fought against that fate.
If Zen had let his title as prince become his only identity, he'd just live up to the expectations of his elder brother, and the nobles who want to something from him, and marry a girl from nobility but be dead on the inside. But he refused to stay cooped up in the castle and went out to learn more about his country and had that fateful meeting with Shirayuki.

There were many instances that forced them apart like Izana nearly ordering Shirayuki to go back to Tanburn or Zen living up to his duties as the second prince, thus making Shirayuki feel unsure if she's worthy to be by his side. But Zen assures her otherwise.

Yet because of their love for each other, they promise to walk the same path together and are presently working towards that goal, no matter what stands in their way.
They also want to achieve their goals through their own hard work and effort, and not have it handed to them on a silver platter.

Thus the bond they have is the "romance that cuts through fate".

Although...it's been more than 100 chapters and we're still waiting for Zen to propose. ^^"
I feel like we're close.
If Zen's uncle can help Shirayuki, then she'll get the social standing needed so Zen can officially announce her as his bride and no one can say boo. 8D

I am desperately waiting for Izana's wedding, I honestly wouldn't mind reading a few chapters about Izana and Haki's relationship. Frankly, Kiss scenes between them would be a cherry on top. ;D
