| Whether he likes it or not, it looks like Ittoki is finally embracing his role as a ninja. Like seriously, he doesn't have much of a choice at this point. Dealing with all those machines looks like a real pain..and this episode wasn't afraid of taking its risks. |

| Well, Kirei switching sides was completely expectable. Now I'm waiting for an inevitable revelations, she she is actually a boy. Even Ittoki is noticably growing balls. Slowly, but steadily. But damn, thia ending. Kousetsu falling under genjutsu and finally unmasked. She is a cutie. Mama dying and Kousetsu seemingly framed, because stab was off screen and it seems like she was stabbed from the back. Also, if it weren't so obvious that ANNIN organisation is a reference to NATO, now it is even more obvious because of how worthless they are. |

| The all-out ninja war begins, and in numbers, Koga easily outnumber Iga due to their technological advances, but for some reason, this same maneuver is giving Ittoki and the crew some time to inspect the mechanical ninjas while the others fend with their lives on the line. As it turns out, using Ninja Cores on these mechanical ninjas prove to be their Achilles Heel, and this proves enough reason for Koga to lunge out to Iga to get its secret Ninja Core for Ittoki to take action when the numbers don't seem optimistic. And most certainly, having Ryoko will be a boost to him while Kirei learns the truth. Shione gets the traitorous NSC-backed Karajishi cornered down with Tokisada racing back to the Iga village, while both Ittoki and Ryoko manage to locate one of Koga's many mechanical charging bays to destroy it while the opportunity is still open. Damn, Ittoki as hell didn't even know that Ryoko Saiga is his biggest asset in her support knowledge...oh, and also Kirei in realizing that helping out Koga will only lead to her demise to defect to Iga. What a dangerous mission, executed successfully. But damn, Kousetsu manipulated by Karajishi's Genjitsu, and Yumika fearless to back down from her plea got her the usual way to die a gruesome death. Now I'm left wondering what happened that lead Kousetsu to be who she is this way... |

| Welp, the writers have the fucking guts to kill off Yumika, and it PISSES ME OFF!! YOU SONS OF BITCHES!! That's it! I'm done with this anime, what's the point on continuing this anime when they killed off the MC's mother who's the best character. I'm done! There's no point on watching this anime anymore! I'M DROPPING THIS ANIME OFF MY LIST!! Fuck this anime! I'm done!  |

You're right that Yumika may have been stabbed from the back and that Kousetsu has possibly been framed, I didn't think of that until I read your comment. Regardless Kousetsu was being telepathically manipulated by Genji somehow (not sure if it's from her helmet) and for now she'll be held responsible. Looks like Kirei may have to face consequences for initially being a traitor based on the preview for the next episode. This anime has definitely picked up and improved quite a bit but I'm stunned that Yumika is most likely dead though, bummer. |
| I do feel that this series is trying its best that it can to salvage any quality they can squeeze out of it, and with that, comes probably the best episode of this show so far, with all the tension, though the ending was very sudden and there was no indication this would happen at all. There are not one, but two double agents? The logic around the ninja core and the recharging battery ideas were alright. This show is far from being saved, but at least it tried. With Yumika's death, it will only get more tense from here. |
| I think they are doing good with their low budget and original story. I think the fight scenes were okay, the music was good. I will still rate this 5/10 overall, it is just so average. |

| What a twist. This episode proves that the Koga clan are absolute scumbags. Kousetsu's "betrayal" was honestly unexpected. That Koga scumbag in jail did some weird hoodoo voodoo brainwashing BS on Kousetsu. She tried so hard to resist but it was futile. May Ittoki's mom rest in peace. God dang it man. Her last words were calling Kousetsu her daughter. Maaaaan. Screw Koga clan! They all need to get annihilated. |

| I thought Kousetsu was the traitor for a while but the more this anime goes along I feel like Raiha (Glass chick) I the traitor. She's never around when shit goes down. She was also in her suit when Yumika was taken by Kousetsu. Sad ending...damn RIP Yumika. At least we got to see Kousetsu without her mask. |

| So the only purpose of Kousetsu’s mask was to show her resistance against the guy’s mind control when her face gets revealed and she’s biting her lip… This is just so dumb lmfao. I’m pretty sure she could be manipulated, cause she’s actually part of the rival ninja clan, but they’ve planned this in advance and let her go to the milf after doing some brainwash jutsu. And the woman, as a good ninja clan leader should, happily accepted a random kid into her family without even trying to look up her background. Shinobi no Ittoki is definitely one of the worst and dumbest anime I’ve ever seen and genuinely don’t understand how can anyone enjoy it. |
