| VN style to save on resources looked pretty clean and didnt feel too out of place. I hope this means there will be some animation heavy episodes coming up. Anyways, the stick theif is exactly who we thought it would be. Kyuumiya is on a mission to steal the Sun family's sacred cudgel (hence the episode title). This episode's events play out parallel to last episode and end at the same point. |

| As suspected, looks like new girl Yoshiko really was responsible for the theft of the sacred cudgel. I Wonder what her father really looks like. This episode parodied video games well enough with the minimal animation, so it wouldn't shock me if the next couple of episodes are going to be very action heavy. kayuza77 said: As Lord Thunder said in his conversation to her, she had a high grade spiritual treasure up her sleep that she snuck in. | I finally got to see the new *best girl*, Kyuumiya in action but they didn't animate how she stole the staff/pole. Yeah, she sneaked in adorably dumbfounded but her actions after going inside wasn't revealed. I'd like to see her struggling just to carry that thing... I wonder if she used that thing she was carrying on her, the one Lord Thunder noticed. Speaking of that Thunder guy, he was hitting on Kyuumiya... lol (let me kill him) Yes, as the others have said, it really looks like a Visual Novel, it was cute though. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| This reminds me of that time the animation team were over worked and not meeting deadlines and Ling Wang and Co had to step in and help them out :D Good eps! |
