| Eh, a totally okay episode as far as I'm concerned. Tsubasa and Ren are the least interesting of the main cast and this episode didn't really convince me to think otherwise. If anything I'd want to see far more of Gentleman, who I enjoyed the most this episode despite only being in it for about two minutes. We also got to see Maura again but, uh, nothing really interesting on his end. The flowers might be for Leon which would be a nice touch, but otherwise there wasn't much to his appearance here. |

| Tsubasa and Ren compliment each other really well imo. Tsubasa is still very traumatised by the whole Haruma-destroying-Third-Feather thing while Ren has two functioning brain cells that she uses to think about superheroes. Put them together and you get a really fun duo. And Ren's deck seems really out there. The card designs seem very Kamen Rider and look closest to Portalcraft card that I've seen but it doesn't seem like Portalcraft exists in this series? |

Portal is in a weird state where it's kind of the dedicated villain deck, both in the mobile game and in the previous anime. There was exactly 1 portal user in the previous show and it's the big bad of the plot. Portal's Japanese name is "Nemesis", if you want to know how on the nose it is. Therefor, it's likely that if we're getting portal, it'll probably be from Ark Ruler (the guy who kidnapped the arc in episode 1 and we saw a brief shot of again a couple episodes back) or some other villain character. |

This means the meaning is they're concealing the true nature of "Arc" and makes it so the public only thinks the Arc is part of the "Ranking system" for Shadowverse and nothing else. ___ ___ ___ And Tsubasa still being a Tsundere with PTSD. While Ren... still being "no thinking, all action" |
