| I'm not sure if I can't fully appreciate the reality of pre-teen females loving and lusting for middle-aged men, let alone through incest or if I'm right in thinking it's completely unrealistic or at least extremely difficult to rationalize in extraordinary circumstances... As a hormonal teenage boy, like many, I definitely lusted and fantasized about my classmates, Mid-20 assistant teachers and teachers, but... From the context relayed in this chapter, I find difficulty in rationalizing how a 13-year-old girl in an environment of irresponsible parents loves/lusts her uncle to the extreme mindset of expecting and desiring him to fuck her... What kind of scenario makes that have sense. It's repulsive. I don't comprehend how the uncle doesn't react more strongly than he does either aside from disregard or confusion. He clearly cares for her as his niece, so you'd expect him to console her to fix that sick idea. Aside from that bizarre unrealistic incestual lust from a teenager, the letters from her parents being hidden until they weren't after it revealed they'd let the uncle take full responsibility of her since they went broke (probably from gambling), and the moment where she takes a moment to sob from the pain was great. I'm not sure how this should be rated, but if we're to assume that the heroine is right in her assumption that her uncle is indeed holding himself back- I don't know what to think of it as his intentions aren't clear. Nonetheless, a strange story. His nightmare of her parent's death while she's crying at 16 doesn't seem very meaningful either in the end. 5/10. |
