| The empress being forced to make such a choice between war and surrendering really is hard. Looks like we got a buildup episode and the Crown Ceremony. Ka Ryo Ten deserves more screen time imo, but glad to see her getting it this episode. |

| The Queen Dowager really got stuck between a rock and a hard place, and while I don't like the way she handled it, hopefully she has something hidden up her sleeve to use against her conspirators. The letter with the broken seal that Diao got was super fishy. If it's a trap, she better not fall for it. |

She lost some opportunities just because she had a son and she took it on him. She blames him for her bad life. I don't remember which chapter of manga or episode of anime, though. But it was early. |

| i have literally no words for this episode, it felt like huge build up for the next one. considering the whole behind the scenes politics, i wonder who will really surprise here. and i feel it's not going to be lu-buwy, too obvious for kingdom. lol |
