If you want a bit of a laugh, this might do it for you.
There is a Storyline but it really plays second fiddle to the Comedy.
I was going to write as it went on, i forgot, then it was too late.
Good for what it is.

i liked this. and given how most shows on MAL are rated way higher than they should be, this show is rated too low, should be more like 6.8-7.3

the comedy is whatever. but the story is interesting. but the mc is so naive to this new city/society he's in and blase about jewels/money. kind of gets old, where i wish they'd just focus more on the plot and less on the comedy/money

i hope there is a season 2. i want to see where this goes

No idea, but this story is certainly incomplete; so a Season 2 is to be expected, if this show performed well.

Donghua are rated lower than anime, so this rating is expected. Comedy animated series are also generally rated lower than serious ones.

That's why I said "6.8-7.3".

If it were Japanese I would've shifted it a little higher (but still < 8.0).

I don't think the comedy, as "meh" as it was, was worth a whole 1-point deduction in score.

I understand that there's no point in arguing for why it should have a higher score. Just stating that it's definitely better than it's rating.

LOL! I thought Im the only who does that! hahaha, didnt realize I have a partner-in-crime here!
The Donghua was pretty good to its genre Comedy-Fantasy. I guess the low rating was viewers mistaken it for an action genre, since the art style, graphic and animation was superbly good!
