| Kudos to Kineko Video for preserving such movies! This is one of those kids movies that take a dark turn like "Chirin no Suzu". Showing the impact of a hydrogen bomb from the point of view of fishes is a very creative way to present the consequences of a nuclear war for nature and man alike. The little fish learning to fly is like a little boy learning to ride a bicyle and waiting to show his dad. I particularly liked the scene with the destruction of the angel statue, signifying the abscence of God. |
