Ah more fighting for territorial control.

It seems the NA region really aren't holding back on their offensive but as expected, there's resistance. Amou is still fighting the good fight and honestly, it feels like his skills really improved. Showing no mercy this season too, yikes.

I thought Gashin is supposed to be the edgy one in this series, new Amou is like Sasuke. I mean you only lost one girl, and died once, by the gundam protagonist standards that should not make you this super doom and gloom person yet.

Now you telling me that the happy dandy mechanic girl is actually the one who designed the Ghost thing ? Like what ? Where does that even came from ? Also i like how that dude at the committee asked about the price of this war, thats a good question ... what are we paying it with, and why are we wagging it in the first place ? Becasue "Japan is a forefront of this war, we are fighting so we can develop our AI/Robots faster than others" is stupid reasoning.

From the opening looks like we'll be seeing much more combat for the team. Nice OP as well that really ups the tension for this season via the visuals. Amou's comeback present for the yanks was pretty damm good. Still its nice to have both Amou and Maki back again. Maki though sure threw a bombshell at us though one that actually made a lot of sense as well. Seems you can't escape from politicians even within the military. Gobert sure proved to be one hell of a mastermind though. Still Amou really has changed quite a bit in the time he went off with Maki. The new gear that Maki and co created during the six months of their MIA though sure proved to be pretty good game changers. Not that Blanc didn't deserve it but man that move of Amou's really was unexpected. Overall a strong ep that balanced out lore expansion and reunions with top tier action and mysteries. Feels like Amou has decided to take a darker route in his quest though one that he's trying hard to suppress if the enemy cooperates.

This second season has been so much better than season 1 already. Loving edgy Amou a lot. I feel like we could get an Eren style twist with him ending up the final antagonist. Would be a bittersweet ending.

Also, can’t get over how perfect that Sawano Ed is. By far my fave artist alive rn.

The resurrected Amou is definitely not the same wimpy Amou from Part 1, and Maki is thankfully alive with him while in disappearance in the 8-month timeskip.

Maki's real notion in her job as the head of TRYVECTA, and simultaneously the head of the unmanned AMAIM AI "Prototype Zero" Ghost, it just sounds and makes sense that what she and her corporation are doing whilst everything that's happened in Part 1 is the result of her company and Brenson Corp.'s partnership: the i-LeS assistants and their AMAIM pilots. All that's left is to retrieve whatever the various military factions had on their hands and stop the mastermind in this nefarious plan that's orchestrated by the Brenson Corp. head German Gobert.

It's no surprise that both Amou and Gai has remained silent over what went on in the 8 months, but even more so is fending the North American Coalition stocked with new AMAIM upgrades from Maki that makes their fight much easier if not for the unmanned AI AMAIM forces they have. Captain Blanc should've stopped there, because dark Amou is no rescinding with a stern face.

This is the much needed episode to tie up what was really going on with the scrambled execution of Part 1 and set the course of the decent-turning-good Part 2 going forward.

Dang Amous has gotten colder that he killed that enemy commander, got every body horrified by his actions and he has that emotionaless expresion on his face. He very much changed from 8 months agk I wondered what made him change so much.

I already knew that German Gobert is a traitor from the very beginning due to his mannerism that I think is a fox and he is nefarious indeed.

I am a bit surprised about the revelations about how the three autonomous AIs and Ghost are very much related to one another and the creator is Misuzu Maki and she is member of TRYVECTA the Company that created the trio Gai, Kei and Nayuta.

I guess based on the preview of episode 16 we will see Brad Watt vs Alexie Zelenoy and Dang I knew he is going to pilot ghost.

Great episode! So Maki was the one who designed Ghost it seems...
kind of hard to believe xD. Amou certainly has changed as well...
He killed that man with no hesitation which was nice to see!

Looking forward to the next episode!

Misuzu withholding her importance and knowledge of the AI including Ghost makes little sense. It's like the writers didn't plan out any of the backstory and now are just dumping some information to fill the mysteries like why Gai was in the forest. It was a bit anticlimactic.

Not a fan of how they're treating Amou either, very generic turn. Still interested to see where this goes at least.

What happened Amou after that battle of Oki as he is way different from the season 1 (or part 1)... this is so interesting to dee why he becomes like that...

and i got to say, i love the new modifications for their AMAIM, as it really improves a lot in terms of mobility, and power...

and of course i love those 3 AI's when they are talking at each other... hahaha

Man, they really turned Amou into an anti-hero lol. Also, is anyone really surprised that German is a bad guy all along.

Really liking this part a little bit more than the first one. Misuzu being a big shot came out of left field though, and not just a big shot, but the one that created Ghost. But hey, I like her so, I'll let it slide.

Honestly liking Amou right now, edgy, but just the right amount, well for now lmao. Maybe it'll worsen as we go on I don't know. I am curious to see how he ended up like that. Looks like next episode will be a Brad episode and Ghost.

Why is it portrayed like Amou did a bad thing and everyone is like "oh no! He killed him!". Come on guys, you are part of the war for survival. You can't get your freedom without a resolve to kill your enemy. But I guess I'm asking too much from bandai with its "mechs is for kids" logic.

Even though Bandai adds "Spirits" and Sunrise adds "Beyond" in its new company, they're still doing the same Gundam formula. Which is too bad because I only enjoy a Gundam which has "Build" in its name. And this episode is more like a normal Gundam.

First because they were fighting almost if not always AIs all along, they are not used to killing humans every day, and second and more important, cuz Amou did it. They were thinking about him as the same innocent and kind boy that wouldn't kill a fly, was a strong shock for everyone to see him crushing a human being with a giant sword.

Wow, Amou and Gai have returned but Amou's character has changed. So curious what has happened to him over the last 8 months.

... Why are Gashin and Shion shocked that Amou killed someone? Aren't these people supposed to be freedom fighters who have been fighting for a year? Surely they've killed some enemy commanders during mech combat, or smashed one of those mobile command center trucks, or stomped on infantry forces before?

The character reveal this episode was... okay? Didn't care. We hardly knew her. There was barely any buildup, and there aren't any consequences to the reveal. Completely pointless. It was 10 minutes of talking that could have been cut entirely and you wouldn't lose anything. Also doesn't make sense. How can she be the president of a company and the lead developer on a project... when she spent all of her time acting as a field mechanic? Where would she have the time to design new prototypes with other engineers in a workshop? Or run her company? Only way that makes sense is if she was the owner of the company and let other people run it for her, and she was simply telling her engineers what needed to be improved and let them work on it, rather than doing it herself.

Another episode of Brad sitting around doing nothing. We are... what? 15 episodes... 5 hours into this series, and the antagonist has taken action for barely 10 minutes. I can't think of a single Char clone who spent this much time doing nothing.

I don't get why you call Amou edgy. He was depressed because of something during the time skip. Killing the hostile enemy commander who posed a threat doesn't make him edgy. It's war.
