| This episode Han Li lures what he believes to be the culprits behind the sectless free cultivators kidnapping but is caught up among a mercenary group of old men. It seems like the mercenaries had no idea what the ethical implications of their kidnappings were but alerted Han Li of their client, an evil sect outside of the traditional sect Han Li was accustomed to. Han Li knows the sect now but the sect are wary of their trails since they know a high level practitioner is on their tail but no idea who it is. That's pretty much my understanding of the episode, the series is getting a lot less interesting and transformative with its storytelling and piles information upon information now that there isn't much to develop. The ratings also dropped from above 7 to 6.80 before this episode released which fortifies my experience. |
