The past of Akihabara sees not only Balzac responsible for the tragedy 10 years past, but also Mimi because she failed to keep Akihabara as it is.

Both Commander Akatsuki and Hayate have seen what they need to see, and declare an all-out war to decimate all of Arahabaki, no negotiations attached. Never thought that a pop-culture icon like the Comiket building would be used against them, and they're indeed facing the worst crisis ever.

Made even worse, is that Hosomichi is being the idealist and pessimist that the results speak for themselves, no matter how dedicated the Battery Girls and Balzac are to push back the True Army. Hosomichi is their key, despite his father's history that his father was the founder who focused too much time on work than taking care of the family. It's the reason why he's wary of being influenced by the Otaku fandom yet again not to repeat what happened.

In a twist, both Munakata and Hosomichi looked like they're gonna betray Arahabaki stealing a Garann away, but what is Hosomichi's true intentions? And what will General Tanaka's real form bring to the table?

I dislike Munakata, but damn I never wanted something bad happens to him so badly as today.
No tomo malas decisiones, solo me gusta apoyar causas perdidas.
Disfruté Mayoiga, Ou-sama Game, Evil or Live, Mirai Nikki, Big Order, Arifureta, Ex-Arm, Tesla Note, Shuumatsu no Harem y Platinum End
nope les falle con esa, lo siento pero todos tenemos nuestros límites.
Así de jodido es mi gusto en anime, ¡Y estoy pinche orgulloso de ello!

Confirmed in the flashback; Yamada was the previous Garanndoll pilot and Mimi was his battery girl. As both fell in love with one another, they both feel responsible for the explosion that created the lake.

The drunken Munakata messes things up big time for Arahabaki; ruining their public image, exposing Hosomochi's identity and threatening Akatsuki on Hosomichi's behalf.

The loyal Hayate breaks off from the tour of Akihabara that Rin is giving her to get revenge for Akatsuki's humiliation in the race, interrupting Yuki's concert.

Done with their recon mission Akatsuki and Hayate leave, giving a 24 hour warning until they bomb the area with the exhibition centre.

All three battery girls are among the Arahabaki members that choose to stay; believing they can defeat the True Army, but Hosomichi is having none of after learning that Arahabaki caused the original explosion from Akatsuki.

He reveals that his father Jin Tokito is in indeed the producer/writer behind Rin's favourite anime Zaburn, the idol that Yuki looked up to and Misa's favourite game. Though his father, he all has a prior connection to each battery girl.

Despite revealing the new system that allows the Type Zero to switch between each battery girl (and therefore each form of the Garanndoll), it is futile as Hosomichi does not comply and hijacks the truck and Garanndoll with Munakata to sell to the True Army.

General Tanaka of Arahabaki, in the big mascot costume, unzips, revealing herself to be a glowing girl...

I was expecting Tanaka to be Misa's father but discovering that a cute girl was inside the commander's getup is fine too.
I wonder how they plan to recapture the Big Sight.

Man, I am honestly tired of Hosomichi just blindly doing whatever the shitty debt collector tells him to. He should've told the guy off back when they first joined Arahabaki.

I don't like Hayate farewell to be like that. They can be a good friend despite all the perspective difference. I hope they both can reach an understanding, the same with Akatsuki and Hosomichi. Damn, they create the cultured archive as the big bomb to drop to the entire Arahabaki, and being nice enough to give 24 hour warning. I feel bad with the tough guy, actually not tough enough when seeing his precious thing might be destroyed 24 hour later. Hosomichi become a letdown again while revealing the identity of his father, which make a sense of all his knowledge over the battery girls, and relating it with the shit reality they've got. As expected he just ignoring the fact that he might've enjoy being together with all of them and decided to leave and stole the Garanndoll, while in fact, Arahabaki still had a good plan to counter the True Army attack. How far you fall into the depth of abyss, Hosomichi? And some unexpected turn revealing the real identity of the general plushy making this series just beyond my imagination. Looks like Misa loli power isn't enough to win the battle alone xd.

using BigSight as a bomb that's incredible.
Ironic the main pilot is Hosomichi with strong reasons to hate their own culture. lol Loanshark betrayal expected, early on he mentioned to bail for money when things look bad.
Biggest twist is Tanaka's true form as magical loli Nunnally, the one with crazy leaps & spits money lol.

Big problem with the show is that the antagonists' motives are really hard to follow.

What are you talking about?
The antagonists' motives are crystal clear: crush the resistance and take over Japan.

Their motives behind antagonizing otaku culture out of all things. It's a bit too silly for me, even if the show's supposed to be slightly ridiculous

I think it's because Arahabaki is possibly the only insurgent group remaining in Japan.

Ah yea if your planning to have a family with kids its your responsibility to give up on everything until those kids can make their own path. And even until death they are still your kids and you made the decision to bring them into this shit world. So take responsibility. And ofc if you marry someone who doesn't share your same interests then your just sabotaging your hobbies lolz.

HOLD THE F ON, all this time Tanaka was a damn loli
Got to say now knowing Hosomichi's backstory makes it understandable why he's empty inside with him not really having preference to otaku culture but just hate for his bad father.

Munakata is gonna get got one of these days if he keeps being a little shitbag. Also I get Hosomichi’s bitterness but he’s being a little bitch right now. You hate your dad, ok but like this place and all these people are going to get hurt so maybe save the moping for after the enemy is defeated? Yeesh. He really is pretty empty inside.

I’m just curious to know how the commander and that lady turned the place into a lake. What did she do?
