| I'm glad this was as great as I was hoping and better than expected. 8/10. Sakurako Kurahashi... A physically strong 18-year-old university student secretly hiding her true self, and being forced to marry with a ladylike persona from a strict mother is a fun concept as is. Her rebellious attitude against her mother, along with the self-esteem and extraordinary strength she has from training as a form of therapy and independence is awesome. Her temper, and speed of milliseconds attacks were hilarious. Her date with Tooru Fujisaki was fascinating. Somewhat quick to be exposed and see her strength in the first chapter, since I would have liked to experience a slower process of several secret identity dates, but albeit arguably fast, it'll be more intriguing to see how their relationship develops since she's just found a guy who likes and accepted her. This has a lot of potential to be a very enjoyable romcom. Her mother in the end shown to be even stronger than her is even more interesting. Great first chapter and a possible solid debut from this Mangaka if this is her first work. |
