----------------------------------------
The action was fairly entertaining, and Hayashi was somewhat cool as a final villain but the whole story in the end was stupid.

Ultimately, it was all just ridiculous.
The concept of bloodlust stays romantic, and some moments of mystery and horror, along with the action are decent, but at the core of the foundation with these dumb characters is utterly stupid in how flawed and immature it is.

The mastermind who enjoys manipulating Kamishiro as an actor as if he's playing him in a game he's created, with the origin coming from Reina being struck by lightning while cracking in a trauma of Neibu's ideals of loving everything against her love for him while getting married to a man who has the same ideal but with a deranged lust of rape towards anything, including goats and trees... Etou as well... to go in a trauma to want Kamishiro's sperm for a baby to kill for her bloodlust... 'fucked up.
The battle of CID and Reidant who are conflicted enemies with flawed ungrounded goals that contradict themselves in fighting each other... Along with many other aspects.

It's all irrational and poorly built in a flawed mediocre story. 3/10, if not lower.
At least the couple are alive in peace, even though the world being fully cured is left to the future through an open ending, while they still plan on staying uncured until everyone is cured.

So basically nothing happened in this sequel. Everything wouldve been resolved peacefully if they all started this whole thing with a negotiation.

Imagine how many lives wouldn't have been lost if they just draft a contract that both parties could agree on. Instead of being gungho in forcefully kidnapping her

Hanazono let them extract the cure on certain days of the week, she gets compensated with monetary and other benefits. Simple.
