| Well then, looks like Risa could be Phantom Thief mAR and no one would notice lmoa. The flashback was sudden and unexpected, but I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing. I mean, I liked the flashback, what it showed and all that, but it just felt weird, like there wasn’t any buildup to it, so it just happened. Moving past that, we learn that Risa tried to join mAR’s group and get in contact with her, but then she came to pay a visit right when Risa was doubting her idea of getting close. It definitely helped her since she had Wan use her account in order to gain mAR’s trust and without that trust, this job wouldn’t’ve even happened. I thought it was pretty funny when mAR asked Wan “why have you been targeting the same man every day?”. The more chapters we learn about mAR, the more I love her as not only an antagonist, but as a character. My only hope is that we are able to get characters as fun and as interesting as mAR future arcs. (Yes I am hoping we get future arcs.) The final touch of this chapter is all in the final five pages! Risa takes mAR to Wan’s private beach where no one will disturb them. You’d think this would be horrible for Risa as they’re alone and mAR doesn’t want to be caught, and you’d be right! Kinda… mAR pulls a gun on Risa saying she won’t be arrested and will shoot her if need be. However, this private beach is perfect for Risa as she is able to talk all about mAR with mAR. She leaks her real name and we even learn that mAR’s father is the one who originally created “Phantom Thief mAR”, but now mAR, or rather Mamie Kaizuka, is “Phantom Thief mAR”. Confusing I know, but trust me when I say that this is some good this! I just can’t wait for the next chapter where we’ll learn more about how Risa found out about who mAR is and even learn who mAR is along the way! |
| As unpredictable as Risa is, I was really surprised to find out that Risa been going after mAR from way back. And the fact that she managed to get some really personal info about was really crazy. I mean... who could've thought that she was doing all that lol. Anyway, it seems like we're getting to learn about mAR aka Mamie Kaiza's backstory. She's probably my favorite character in this series so I'm looking forward to learning more about her. |
