| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah yes, Ryou's love of anime never ceases to amuse me in this show. Arie got more screen time this episode and they share a similar passion about their love of anime. Interesting that we also saw some of the past of the Amakusa family although the part about their parents didn't look pretty. I also think this episode shows how much Rio trusts Arima to be able to tell her these private info about their family. |

| Matsushima's coincidental meet of Ryo, and there he is being a seasonal otaku for Ichika's benefit LOLS. The rumour that Ryo has Ichika (that is not known to his colleagues) still stands though, an unverified one. What a haphazard family life of Ryo's, just between father and son, while the rest are fine. In contrast, Ichika's family life is quite the delight, and Rio thinking that someday her family would reconcille together...keep wishing for the best. Considering that Tamaru is getting more of the spotlight, his character shines in sports, and of course, the romantic teasing shenanigans between him and Ichika. Try harder at skill than in love, Tamaru. Well, Matsushima Arrietty got her chance to be hooked up with Ryo through her colleague, but even then, Ryo's "unrequited love" crush on Ichika just outscales any other potential women, let them try. Getting desperate for love...ain't that so? |

| Finally get to hear about ryou's circumstances giving his character a lot more depth than before, which was honestly needed. Bit of rivalry going on, keeps things fresh in a romcom I guess lol |

| I enjoyed this episode quite a lot. It was mostly focused on Rio's family in the first half. We got to know more about Ryo and his relationship with his father. We got to see Tamaru showing off his skills in soccer and impressing those girls. Also, those girls really think that Tamaru and Ichika are dating? Girls will be girls. LOL The second half was much better imo. Arie really got out to ask Ryo about his girlfriend. He refused it, so she does have a chance with him. I liked their little talk over drinks at the bar. Maybe something's building up. Might be a rival on both sides. For both Ichika and Ryo. LOL |

| Really liked this episode. The focus on Rio and her family in the beginning was nice, we got to hear what it's like for her. She must've been lonely. :( I've taken a real liking to Arietty, she seems nice and I daresay that I ship her with Ryo more than Ichika. Tamaru looked pretty cool playing soccer. Was that him that passed by Ryo and Arietty near the train station? |

| Even though 86 and Vivy are clear as the top 2 shows of the season, Koikimo is probably the most enjoyable show of the season for me if that makes sense. I’m absolutely loving the love triangle/rectangle that we’ve got with Tamaru, Ichika, Ryo and Arie. It’s just enough drama to keep things interesting and the gradual romantic developments. Today was such a great episode. Ichika slowly but surely recognising there’s a little more than just friendship there with Tamaru, even if it’s not full blown love or “like”, there’s some interest. Football match was hilarious with all the girls fawning over him, lol. Then the highlight of the week was for sure Arie and Ryo’s interactions. She’s so damn adorable. Her inner monologues about her chances with Ryo were so cute. Debating if I’ll read or just wait for the anime to finish because this is so damn good. |

| I really want to root for Matsushima but I don't think it will happen. Ryo's love for anime is pretty fun. I hope they'll get a bit closer. |

| So uh... is there just something about soccer that makes artists want to make the fences disappear around faces? It doesn't look nearly as odd in Koikimo as it does in Sayonara Watashi no Cramer but it's funny that I've only seen it in Koikimo during the soccer game. |

| So, this is the part where Arietty finally encouraged herself to entered the embarassing drama love circle between them all. Well, not even i can't denied the possibility. But, oh shit, here they come, the starting point. After taking a long shot of Ichika high school and daily life, how she felt more deep about Ryo (holy shit) and sure i feel really bad for Tomaru again. Then the part of those two adults already decided. So, ugh, okay. Idk whats happened in the later part. Yeah, i can't wait for the next! |

| You know this is getting pretty good, if it goes how I think it will it might actually be not all that bad. It seems like they both have normal love interest now, they could be ignored of course and that would suck. The whole Amakusa family seems to have some trauma that was interesting to reflect upon and the animations have gotten a little funnier. This could get better for all I know, especially if the two get love interest their own age. |

| Shit Arriety about to board the Heart Broken Train. I think the beginning of this episode is led to believe we will dig more into both Rio backstory and backstory with their father. The thing with the Flowers while impressive Rio just brushed it off as whatever and I think her Father plays a very important Role in why Rio is the way she is. Ichika wondering if Ryo is good at soccer and not caring about Tamaru. Actually good I find him boring AF. Best Girl needs some time to shine.  |

| This episode is pretty much all from the perspective of Ryo, and for that reason I disliked it. Even though I really dislike this show and especially Ryo, I don't think I'll drop it. It's bad alright, but not totally boring to the point where I'd want to drop it. Ryo still really sucks tho. |

| Pretty good episode! Arietty has a 0% chance but that's ok lmao, I really like her, it's pretty entertaining to see her trying to get Ryo's attention and she does remind me of Ichika a little, well in terms of their weeb meter. I like that Ryo is an anime fan now lmao. Tamaru stonks are rising now in their school, though Ichika is not really interested. The new shots on the ED looks really nice. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Omg they added the other characters into the ED, Masuda, Tamaru, Matsushima. The art is so beautiful & I love that song. Favourite ED of the season!!♡ It’s pretty clear none of them, both Matsushima & Tamaru, stand a chance, even tho they are more suitable for Ryou & Ichika. They only have each other on their minds. Ichika thought of Ryou while watching Tamaru playing soccer & the first thing Ryou did after parting ways with Matsushima was to call Ichika. Subtle, yet says a lot. |

| I am constantly in limbo with this anime. It never does enough to make me drop it, but it also never does enough to make me commit to it. I feel like I am always 1 or 2 episodes away from dropping it only for it to show me enough to keep me going to the next week. The two love triangles are contrived, but the two rivals are entertaining enough to warrant the drama. More coincidental encounters too, which has gotten pretty old by now. |
| This ep was pretty good, get to see Ryou asking his coworker about anime to get close with Ichika but more importantly we get to know more a bit about Rio and her relationship with her brother. The art style on the ending song is so damn good, I vibe with it and the ed. |
