| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shiki is really the "angry" type, but I guess that he will accept Kabané later, and also they really did that "trap" character with Akira xDD well the 1st case with the bugs was already pretty good, and they appeared because of the stolen shoes... really interesting, Kabané did a good job with saving them like that, poor family :/ |

| Little Bakugou isn't as awful as how I think he would be, but he can still be quite annoying sometimes. It's nice to have a spider boy instead of the usual spider woman from Japanese folklore, though. Episode morality : stealing is bad, even if you're poor. There would be a lot of things to say about it, honestly. |
| That scene where the bugs just completely swarmed that dude was pretty terrifying honestly. Looking forward to more of this show, another good episode. |
| Another fine, respectable episode again. Kabane's got some motivation now to join the agency, to look for his parents and help out people too in the process with the powers he holds. The episode looked a bit cheaper than the previous one which I thought had some really nicely animated scenes while this felt a tad choppier, but the lighting and the sound design did more than enough to maintain that tense atmosphere when Kabane had to deal with the bugs for a bit. Also, him calling Akira a girl shows that even anime characters can be completely deluded for traps and not just the audience. |
| I knew he was a trap cause Inugami clearly said everyones a guy where he works in last episode XD. This episode kinda hit hard in the feels. The plot was nothing new but I dun mind watching something focused on family bond. Also I hope Kabane and Shiki can meet their parents someday. To not know the warmth of ones parents is truly sad :) Also yoo HanaKana's voice on the phone, didn't knew she was one of the casts of this show. Now I'm really looking forward to meeting the woman she's voicing. |

| Of course Ayu would voice Akira. Lmaoooo at the whole I’m not a girl gag x) Yucks!!!!! Those bugs were so gross......yet so intriguing. At how they they are attracted & formed from immense guilt. That was so interesting. Great episode! Love the kind of folklore vibe going on. |

| hmm as I remember from the manga the 1st case with the bugs were before Kabane meets Akira and Shiki, also Kabane and Inugami were alone in that case, seems they changed the order to move faster, also they already skip few panels between Shiki and Kabane |

| This was a good episode, but I really love the OST in this episode. It really brungs out the mood and atmosphere. I have a feeling that I'm gonna enjoy the characters more than the story. |

| Akira is a trap, and he’s sharing the same voice actor with Venti lmao. Akira’ll probably be on of my favorite characters in Kemono Jihen. Shiki is annoying. |

| alright i like how it goes, i love how the monster/demon/villain concept is triggered by human guilty feelings, not just abnormally attack people because they're evil. and yes another suicidal teenager, (even tho he's immortal). and still love the ost! I thought the city settings will ruin the 1st episode good atmosphere but it works just fine, looking forward to next week |

Anyways, always love the banter between Kabane and Shiki. I really love both of their characters, it's great to see their relationship grow, Shiki is a really great guy tbh and Kabane is just.. Kabane. He has a lot to learn. |

| I'm loving this adaptation so far. The PV looks a little bit cheap but the actual product is surprisingly more polished than I expected. Tbh I wasn't expecting much when I get into it because usually I expect too much from niche series done by smaller studio and end up getting disappointed. This time I'm surprised by the quality. The OP looks super nice too. |

| Damn I got trapped for the first time ever. Didn’t know blue haired boy was a boy lmao. Was a tough episode for me to watch since I hate bugs, but a good one nonetheless. Idk quite how to describe this series. It feels like a mix of No Guns Life and BSD. I like it a lot so far though. Looking forward to seeing the world fleshed out more. |

| Shiki and Akira...the former pretty much My HeroAca's Bakugo (but kinder) style, and the latter, a pretty (trap) tomboy. You can call this the Kemono Eccentric Family. Right off the bat, Shiki picking on Kabane isn't a surprise, it'd take some time to get used to it. Getting Chapter 2 as the introduction to the Kemonoists' abilties was an eye-opener, and asking a hanyo like Kabane to deal with the bug issue is an easy cinch. A reshuffle of the manga content that I'd thought worked better for the anime. A stolen pair of shoes for a family that was living in extreme poverty, only to be invaded by bugs, that's harsh reality. Really turning out to be as promising. |

Yeah I was thinking they could have taken just a few more minutes with it because i think it hit a bit deeper in the manga.. but then again I've read these chapters a while ago so I can't be sure if my memory is correct or not at this point. But then again they ended it with a pretty neat cliffhanger so I get it why they went around and changed some things. |

| Trap and tsundere boy; that's fine by me. I wonder which type of kemono Akira is. Maybe a fox or something animal youkai like that. Whoops next episode is going to be "Foxes", so I'm probably right on the spot about that! |

Great sound design, some nice shots (storyboard-wise), great camera use (mainy last episode, how they handled that 2D monster fight) and great designs overall (from an animation perspective). Not sure if they will manage to keep this solid quality but Ajia-Do has had some solid productions. |
