| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- It was a very sad thing to find out that the author of this story tragically passed away before she was able to finish her masterpiece but she really did create a heartwarming and heart-rending story that never failed to make me feel something meaningful. It was like I've grown up alongside Hikaru when I was following his journey along with Sachiko. A lot of the topics depicted here emotionally resonated with me while providing new knowledge and perspectives about things in life that I more or less took for granted until this manga made me think about it. It's actually a pleasant surprise that I felt like I've become a better person after reading this. Thank you, Keiko Tobe. |
