Hinata Sakaguchi's voice actor made her character interesting in just 10-20 seconds. That was a pretty nice recap for a 24 minute episode. |

Punkero said: my thoughts exactly! Cause the veladora recap got a 1ep ova entry. And it just kind of seems weird having it under the second season titleWonder if this will get it's own separeted entry on MAL. |

It's just a recap, so it's worth watching only if you want a refresh. I watched S1 when it aired and thought it was a decent watch. |

Isn't Veldora's Diary already a recap? Why is there another recap?🤣 Anyways, will there be a separate MAL entry for this episode? |

Decent recap overall but the "some extra content" part in the synopsis is such a blatant lie. Only 30 seconds or so at the end of the episode and it's merely this Hinata girl misinterpreting everything like an idiot. |

Yep, another recap. Its from Rimuru perspective now, with a lot of new content. To be honestly, its more interesting than Veldora diary (please, don't be mad, Veldora-sama!), because its had a better content that continued the previous problem. They still hide Chloe's mystery pretty cunningly, while i suspect not much signifance of it at the next season. I hope its still get more proper explanations in the next season. What about Diablo? Its still another mystery too that must be solved next. I mean, he was supposed to be Rimuru's underlings too. But, why? And then, Hinata, the Holy Knight Captain. The battle between them, that became a differentiator among the generic one, which i am still doubtly believed its importantly rather just to be a justification for Rimuru's opness for a while. However, thats fine. What interesting me more with Clayman plan against Rimuru, and i suspect that he will use Milim for the next scheme. What kind of thing he will do next? The answer shall be done at the second season! 6/10 for the sake of hyping next season. |

Nice recap. It is not as good as that episode with Veldora and Ifrir, but it served its purpose as a recap episode of Season 1. :) That ending, though. Hinata's point of view was interesting to see, but too bad she thinks that Rimuru has killed and devoured (or killed by devouring, lol) Shizu against her will. |

well, that was a somewhat helpful recap, but not a great one they literally spent time having rimaru say all 5 of those children's names in succession at least twice while ignoring entire arcs fromt he first season. just a bizarre decision. does this mean they really want us to know the kids' names? are they going to be uber important this season? guess i'm about to find out what the recap did a good job of highlighting was how much stuff actually happened in season 1. no wonder i'm struggling to remember it |

This was a bitch to find on MAL. It wasn't a separate entry and I didn't see it under season 2 episode. Decent though. That's been two recaps already though. Some pretty heartbreaking foreshadowing for such a comfy show |

Why would Shizu hate that world!? She should consider herself lucky she was summoned there and managed to accomplish great feats and become powerful before she died. Only foolish and naive people wouldn't want that. Also, that world is awesome compared to real life, where everything is so f*cking mundane! The real world is an endless cycle of greedy corporate assholes at the top exploiting the people at the bottom—and endless, pointless wars throughout the world. There's no magic, monsters, supernatural beings, no nothing! Would she have preferred to have survived post-war Japan, possibly living in poverty, or if she's middle class, have a family and raise kids as a sacrifice for the workforce, work a 9-5 job with lots of overtime until retirement age, and then die as a nobody? Is that a better life than what she had in the otherworld? I'd rather be a demon's weapon than a nobody in the real world. If I were Rimuru, I would absorb all the beautiful females of that world! Good summary. I finally understood what they were doing during the last stretch of S1. I couldn't pay attention back then since I was bored of the show. |

A preview leading into season 2. It is a recap from the POV of Hinata Sakaguchi, a former student of Shizu-sensei. She thinks that Rimuru has killed Shizu-sensei. Does this mean a battle between both is looming in season 2? Hope this misunderstanding can be resolved. |
