THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.
----------------------------------------
Well at the end suzuki left the little boy with the old landlady from the start of the show.

Where he lives now as her grandson, at least he can live a normal live and he also found some friends in the school he transferred to.

Suzuki at the final match with the damn old man kuzu, said to him that she needs some time before she can kill him, kuzu obliged and said he will kill all the police chief who was behind the killings as the police is also one the lookout for kuzu.

Now Suzuki lives alone and a new family moved next door they greet her and the little girl of the family sticks out her tongue in a cheeky way, suzuki is annoyed and said why always me. :D

PS. Shoutouts to Kuzu he basically solved everything by killing the police chief, who was the only other party who knew abt the case, now all can live freely, until kuzu and suzuki meet again for their last death match but who knows when that'll be, it might never happen. :D

the ending was quite good yet so sad for some reason? I really hoped for them to be together but I guess it was a wishful thinking of mine as we all know she is a contract killer and things always go south if he had stayed together with her.

I recently completed Shigahime first, after completing this.
I first found about Mother Parasite beforehand, and am glad to see that Hirohisa Sato clearly has talent.

Aside from his gorgeous art alone, 'Suzuki Just Wants a Quiet Life' is very good.
Particularly as his debut manga.

It's somewhat simple, yet fairly unpredictacle.
Unfortunately, the ending is a bit disappointing, and the villain is dull.

Corrupt cops attempting to kill a whole family, with the child left, for what they saw is great.
While the villain who's a psycho that enjoys the adrenaline of danger, teaching the boy how to kill him is intriguing... but it's a bit boring.

Moreso is the frustration of how he often gets away, but then there's the open-ending that assumes Suzuki will kill him as promised.
... The whole dynamic conflict of her being a paid killer, while trying to stop Jinsuke from becoming one out of idolization and revenge is pretty entertaining.

Specifically what I love about this story is the immature insecurities of the young woman Suzuki who is hurt whenever the 10 year old boy Jinsuke doesn't appreciate her unspoken thoughtfulness to make him happy.
How she unwantingly fantasizes about living with him as if she was his mother, and how she grows to enjoy their familial bond in the end compared to the life of a lone killer.

Jinsuke's pain and grief in the beginning of the story is incredible.
The way in which Suzuki immaturely hurts his feelings out of biterness, wanting a quiet life which he inconvenienced.
The detectives theorize her as 20-30 years old, but I first thought she was a teenager based off her looks and attitude, but she is apparently in her Mid-20's, I guess.

Even though, the story mostly revolves around saving the young boy, Jinsuke...
The best character is our Suzuki.

For how complex and mysterious she is. Even, remains to be.
At 9-10 years old, she was asked by a pain killer, named "Suzuki", to kill her father due to the debt he owes.
She coldly replied she'd do it for free, for being a father who abuses her.

Yet, even after killing him with several shots to the boy, after the deed is done.
She asks "Suzuki" to stand like a tree, so that she can hug him for a few seconds.
Later on, now a paid killer herself, "Suzuki" has gone rogue for not finishing his job, of also killing our Suzuki, along with her father, so she seemingly kills him, but doesn't.

She shot him, but he survived, and her organization believes he's dead.
We only see him once more when she tries to comprehend why he let her live, compared to how she's still saving Jinsuke.
It's a beautiful display of their character, and how they yearn for love, because they're lonely, even if they are killers.

... Unfortunately.
Aside from the villain being a bit boring for mostly being unknown to our Suzuki whenever he's badly influencing a young boy for his entertainment... in the end, Suzuki succeeds in having Jinsuke remain pure without having killed, but instead of continuing to live a peaceful life with him, she leaves him off to an old woman who they lived with.
Later on, his grandma took him over, now he's in a new school, living happily.

Yet, Suzuki, who we never learn her real name, remains a paid killer, nearing her goal to fufill her promise of killing the villain so he doesn't bother them again.
After that. Nothing else. We'll never know.

So, an eplogue or short sequel would be great.
In its own right, it's good that the ending is unpredictable, for not having the typical peaceful ending where the antihero changes their life to a peaceful one with their new companion... but damn it, we want that.

It's a bit odd... because even though Suzuki changed for the better, realizing and admitting that she's lonely and loves Jinsuke platonically, even though she has yet to kill the villain, she remains a paid killer...
Or unless it's safe to assume that hopefully she would stop after she's killed him, but I guess part of her wants Jinsuke to forget about her so that he doesn't grow up idolizing a killer.

Yet, again. Seeing that future and its possibilities would be great.
Will she fall back to her dark lonely path of killing, or stop after she's killed that man. Would she ever reunite with Jinsuke, or will she happen to save another.
Anyway. It's a little bit underwhelming for what if left out, but this manga is kinda great. A solid 7/10.

Far better than his manga Shigahime that was done afterwards.
That, his characters and plots were bizarre and slightly ungrounded. Very flawed in comparison.
