I said sub but I wanted to comment here for a few reasons.
The dub is very good so far. There is only one (maybe two by now) episodes of it out but the casting choices are pretty damn great. Trina Nishimura is fantastic as Natsume, just as good as the Japanese seiyuu from what I’ve heard. Kaburagi’s got a pretty unique english voice that fits really well, and from the little I heard of Hugin in English, I think they got him absolutely perfect.
I’m always reluctant to say a dub is “as good as the original” but in terms of the main character voices, if you like dubs, the Deca-Dence dub is definitely worth your time. Some minor voices likely won’t be as good as the Japanese as is pretty much always the case with dubs but on the whole it was a very good sounding dub to me.

I originally watched the first two episodes in sub. I put it on hold for a while and wait for the dub to get announced. It eventually happened and I decided to rewatch the first two episodes in dub. I then watched most of the rest of the show in dub. But the episodes came out very slowly and I ended watching the last two episodes in sub, because I wanted to finish the show before the end of the year so I could write about it.

Anyways, I tend to prefer dubs, so my answer is obviously gonna be the dub, so instead I need to point out what makes this dub exceptional. And that is Trina Nishimura as Natsume. She puts every bit of spark and energy into Natsume that she deserves, without coming across as annoying or obnoxious. The show also has some pretty emotional scenes, and those scenes hit hard.
Grimgar season 2 please!!!!
