| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The perspective completely shifted to Saori Tanaka which was nice. I am sincerely hoping that she does play a meaningful role in this climax, she's the only person that Kunio may not blame for killing his brother, and she's the only one who isn’t battered and bloodied. Up until now she has kind of played the role of moral support and an item depository, bringing the pager and the shortened sword for instance, I hope I'm not forgetting something and doing her dirty though. But even if she doesn't end up doing something decisive and effective, I it's still somewhat cool to get her view and her determination. She would if she could and that is something when it comes to making her feel like a person. Anyways yeah, everybody's being thrown out the freaking window and Hidemine, the MVP, struck again. He's aiming to kill two of his boys tonight! I really appreciate how bold, confident, and decisive this old man is, the fact that we can rely on him to cut somebody's throat the moment he gets the chance if need be is an appealing trait. The fact that he appears to boldly live by his teachings and show how effective they are is my favourite part of him. It's interesting to think about thematically because it's what's allowed him to get the upperhand until now; but it's also what created this situation to begin with. Oh also it's always great to see Morita take another beating! |
