----------------------------------------
The life we could imagine was real, for being inferior in a house where merit was the only thing that mattered, he was treated horribly. At some point his anger and sadness boiled into a desire to kill. But even after killing eight people, he does not consider himself on their level, because at least he can acknowledge the evil he has done rather than quickly sweeping it under the rug.

His story featured a s*xy black haired Hidemine, but more importantly, the one moment he felt connection and kindness within his family. Fleeing the house for a matter of days with Katsuyuki was most likely the nicest moment of his life. There is a bittersweet nature to the beautiful way he described those days. What should be the baseline, to be respected as a human, treated as if he were equal, he had that in one fleeting experience. The cold weather was a few steps above the house, and the warmth and kindness of the money when abandoned by his brother only to be ice cold with betrayal later down the line is beautiful language as well.

It's no surprise he would want closure and hang onto this one moment as long as he has. I mean, the brothers who were treated better also turned to murdering their father, that says it all! And, to be told he was disgraceful by the one positive familiar connection he had hurts more than anything the other family members could do, it wasn't a Kamui demon being cruel as always, it was the betrayal of a friend. I wonder, if that hadn't happened, if he would even be doing this today!
