| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So the whole deal about awakening Shuka with the five Youseiken was a trap by Soranaki and he was the one who was fully awaken by that ceremony. Poor Shutendouji, used to the very end. I won't say that Douketsu died believing in a lie though. It's better to think, and not truly false, that he died believing in Shutendouji himself and he still has a chance of helping their princess even if he isn't the one to awake her. I don't think this is going to comfort him though, but I hope he won't be consumed by Soranaki since he probably hates him more than ever now. And I don't really like how Keisuke and Ayame were left behind in the battle against the Shinma, and it will probably happen again in the next episode, but hopefully not until the end. But it was cool to see Akinori and Ayame defeating those two Shinma in perfect sync before it happened. lol And with that cool scene in which Akinori protects Natsume and she gets a glimpse of her past life, and with the preview of the next episode, I guess it's safe to assume that Akinori and Touma are really reincarnations of Oni who fought for Shuka as well! Oh, and Enma was able to save Kaira in a way that Shutendouji couldn't save Douketsu, but things were bleak for a moment. Well, even Enma Daiou is saying that Natsume/Shuka is the only one who can defeat Soranaki and entrusted the human world to her and the others since he needed to go back and protect the Youmakai. Things are getting better and better! These last three episodes promise to be good! |
