Lives in this manga is too fragile. Even the school decided to cover up the truth...damn.

A corrupt society is what it is.

the mc is just cringe honestly. he's thinking about "dreams and future" of those said people who were affected and not the people who are actually the victims, hypocrisy at its finest really. he's acting like a hero even in that situation, what a dumbass. he's one of those people who would not do shit when a man is abused by a woman, but goes white knight mode when the abused man fights back. "there's no such thing as a world that can be changed with bombs. what changes the world is the small efforts of people", thats the only thing i agree with him on

I agree as well the main good guy's speech was actually pretty weak and made him rather unlikable for me. Calling Kaede scum was probably the most callous thing after all, considering the atrocities she has done, she still is a valid victim of society. In this case, specifically, it really shows the effects of bullying, and it ends up not only harming the victim. I mean imagine the people who get harmed when the victim decides they have had enough and lash out at society. Or they decide to kill themselves and leave people behind who will have to deal with the untimely loss.

Though Kaede's narrative and resolve are flawed, they show her pain and grief at an unfair world in which people can just decide that they don't like you and make your life a living hell for really petty reasons. I thought that mc would at least understand and be able to relate to this to some extent as he also was once bullied. His counterpoints all felt rather flat and hypocritical, what about the lives and futures of those people who get bullied and have their lives messed up for little to no reason?

Killing people because you are being bullied is wrong kids... But at the same time can't ignore the harm that bullying does to its victims. It's a messed up world, and one can only hope that society learns to have more empathy, and people remember that no matter their situation, condition or misfortunes, they are still human.
