So, they have known each other for 2 years (even longer, since it is hinted that they already met once when they were children), dated for four months and lived together for two months by now.

Yet she is still unable to properly communicate with him?
Was it too hard to say something like "I am preparing a surprise, so I will take some lectures and will be late for a while." or "I got interested in painting and started taking classes." ?

Even if it his for his birthday present, isn't that a bit too much of a tradeoff when you have to sacrifice all the time you could spend together for weeks just to make his present in time?

And I wonder about all the poses. It looked like the artist guy only drew here while she was working on her own picture. So did he have such a great imagination that he could still draw her in any pose in his mind?

Still kinda disappointing, I didn't imagine them to be so immature. But well, in that regard they are similar to most of the other characters in this manga so far. Some more, some less.

Well, we saw the "come here 3 times and your love will be forever" cliff in the painting, so I assume they will meet up at that cliff later on.
