Typically for a lot of the chapters, I've just cruised through them and taken whatever happens at face value. This particular chapter was very interesting to me for a few reasons.

1. Saeki-san's specialty dish is Omelette Rice, which isn't traditionally Western food, despite her working at the Western Restaurant. She prefers preparing Japanese food, as was shown in a short after Chapter 6. It's a pretty obvious detail that could be missed, and I certainly didn't expect this level of character development in a seemingly simple manga.
2. For some reason, Saeki-san's father still has a blanked out face. Why exactly is this? Tokimiya-san's mother never got this treatment, and neither did his siblings.
3. Originally, we weren't given a history of Tokimiya and Misshi's friendship, but now that we're seeing them interact more, there's quite a bit to appreciate about how real it feels.

All said, I still feel taken away from the manga in some bits, but this chapter in particular was exceptional. I think I'll be coming back to this in the future to remember the attention to detail of established characters.
It's not long enough.
