| THIS IS A NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- Although the tensions are being raised due to the impending crisis of the upcoming invasion, I still can't help but laugh in the process especially in the case of a certain poor vampire. Also, need to commend those from the Axis cultist. They did well and did not troll beyond annoying. Zelta was kinda cringey though. And well, props to Kazuma finding his own cheat finally.....or is it really that OP when he doesn't have enough mana to begin with. Though he haven't any success yet with his new power, I think his last speech to blow everyone was cool enough. Overall, I think I enjoyed the parts or the content where Aqua set forth to her own adventure. Her perspective was quite a refreshing scenario. But I wonder, with all this comedic contexts, will there ever be an actual dramatic reunion next volume XD. |

| Kazuma sort of got a power up. He's still pretty useless in battle lol Megumin knows how to go on the offensive! Too bad Kazuma cucked himself. I feel really bad for Serena. She is forced to suffer a fate worse than death. Join the axis cult. The demon king and even the monsters are terrified of the axis cult. Zesta is terrifying! Seeing moments from Aqua's perspective makes me realise just how much of an idiot she actually is.... Time for Megumin to go on an explosion spree. She's going to have a lot of fun with this. |

| Volume 16 was once again a lot of fun to read! Even though I said that, the last chapter felt kind of rushed to me. Next volume will probably the last one ;_; I just hope evertyhing will be clear. (Demon King's Daughter, Chomusuke, Relationships between Kazuma and the others, Chris and Darkness, whether Emperor Zell is REALLY a chicken) Some more scenes with Iris would be appreciated as well. And of course a satisfying ending to my favourite Isekai. |

| I still think that Kazuma should have taken the engagement ring, I do feel sorry for the nameless fake ruler of the undead but, it was THE ring. There is a portal to the underworld in the dungeon, the "strongest" mage has one as well. It seems the world really is in danger afterall, who could have thought! I'm seeing serious harem flags in this, which would be a shame after everything Megumin did to be best girl. I love Darkness but... I hope she stays with the NTR. Only one or (hopefully) two volumes to go, there are a lot of things to wrap up, but I have a good feeling about this ending. Let's hope for a full adaptation now. |
| This volume had a few serious moments but still retained its original feel Kazuma thinking that his time to shine finally came and then using his wealth to grind some levels. Aqua uncertain about her resolve and thinking of going back after not even a day passed The scenes with Megumin were good. Too bad the story is about to end. Akatsuki Natsume mentioned in the afterword to stick with him for a while longer. I think only one-two volumes are left till the conclusion. Still Vanir mentioning about Chomusuke being an evil goddess and the Demon Lord's daughter leaves me intrigued. Bet it's one of Akatsuki Natsume's another over the top surprise |

| Kazuma's present to Megumin was awesome and the whole scene was so well done for their relationship, hyping the explosion up really well in the epilogue. The rest of the volume though was so boring to get through, and was incredibly underwhelming given how it's the penultimate volume of the main series. That present scene saved this somewhat from being one of the weakest volumes for me. |
| The last chapter and epilogue basically confirms that Megumin is the winner of Kazuma's love interest, it's been a long time coming My favourite chapter of this Demon King Battle Prep arc has gotta be the dungeon raiding with Vanir and Wiz. Who needs proper gear when you can just go Hawaiian-style like Vanir lmao. Kazuma learning Teleport is gonna be OP if only he learned Invisibility in combination also wtf Zesta, I try not to pity Serena but that's just... bruh. Cue the multiple EXPLOSIONS to kickstart the Demon King raid! |
