| As I was watching the episode, I was debating all the while whether I should just quit it out, or not... But, it made me laugh a few times. Seems mostly like a calming, passive watch. I actually enjoyed it. |

| That was a lot better than i was expecting! I really like that there's the slice of life and comedy aspects (much like Touken Ranbu) but also an action related sub genre. Also it really helps that there are so many perfect Bishounen! hahaha |

| Normally I do a three episode Madoka rule and force myself to watch, just in case we get a total switch of genre/plot, but after 3.38 I've had enough. Edit: Ok, I watched another two minutes just to give it more of a chance, and it morphed into "cute bishie gods doing cute things", and I generally refuse to watch anything that doesn't go beyond that (even if the characters are cute girls). So I'll add this to my SOL discard pile. I will say however, that the character designs are beautiful, and if you are looking for bishies to fantasize about, this is probably the show for you. I on the other hand, prefer shows that satisfy my carnal desires for romance, lust, and human emotions and I'm not convinced that I will get anything to meet those needs. And if I'm honest about it, I just find the theological world view presented here, too much at variance with my own. When I go to Japan, I consider myself a pilgrim at the Shinto shrines but just a tourist at the Buddhist temples. |

| That was different. But I like how different it was. IT started with some divine intervention, and then expanding upon the vice aspect of mortal life was cool. Plus there was enough comedy that I dont mind the whole bihonene aspect . So far, I am looking forward to this, and will give it a few weeks so I can binge watch it as much as I can. So far, so good. ^~^ NAmi Amida Butsu...OOOOOoommmm. :P |
| Kept debating whether or not to drop it during the episode but I guess I'll give it another episode. Kind of interested on the Ashura issue. Thought it was going to be more like Noragami where the MCs focus on cleaning vices but it turned out more to be an average slice of life. Think they could have used the human disguises to more effect. |

| Abysmal translation as expected (bosatsu=bodhisattva, shaka=shakyamuni, etc) but at least this bishounen fest will allow to brush up on my Buddhism. Plus I liked all the naff comedy like Acala vacuuming or Jizou browsing the webs on his phone. |

| This show is absolute garbage IMO. dropped within 10min into the show. grown up machos acting like little anime girls or like little kids... like WTF? ! all the jokes were lame and crappy. |
