| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, Gripen doesn't seem too motivated about a match against Phantom. This was also not easy for either Kei or Gripen as it tested them physically and mentally. Not sure how I feel about Phantom still...she's just someone that's really hard to deal with. On the other hand, it seems Eagle is getting much more clingy with Kei lol |

| It seems like the only passengers aircraft that land at the base are all 787 Dreamliner's. Anyway Phantom got of her high horse a bit but the question is will it work out for them. And the F2 finally made an appearance tho without a anima. |
| So Kei will pilot the Daughter during combat because Gripen can't deal with both piloting, weapons and radar… OK, Gripen may be less skilled than the other Animas, but she was still created to be able to follow the strange moves of Zais. If Kei has to take some burden from her, why not give him the radar for example, it would make more sense in my opinion. But no, he is so good at piloting that he is as good as Gripen at flying a plane she was designed for. If such humans exist, what was the need to create Animas? This really bugs me. And, please, make something with Kei's childhood friend/wannabe girlfriend, make her a hero or make her disappear so that she is useful to the story... However, the other characters are still ok |

| Now thats quite the bet that was agreed there. Still bold as it was this was kind of needed as without Phantom the op just won't succeed. Considering her opponent Gripen's reaction is to be expected i guess. So Kei's plan was to use some means to slow down Phantom's reaction times to give them the advantage huh. Though Phantom's skills at ECM made the fight a tough one Kei really ended up delivering there though. Using not just the unique relationship that exists between Kei and Gripen but also the program decoy and Kei's own skills Kei's plan sure was impressive. Hmm so the Viper is Naha's base's guardian. Funny in how Phantom's lies can also be used in a good way as well. Still without Eagle im curious to see how they will fare in the battle to breach the enemies defences. |

| When sad, Gripen is cute too. Amazing how they won against Phantom in the simulation. ^__^ New plane revelead... Next episode will be the big battle. Can't wait for next episode! |
| A good episode overall : it was expected that Kei/Gripen would win against Phantom, turning her own strenght against herself. Gripen is such a cutie when she thought Kei wanted to leave her for our green-haired girl lol Anyway, I'm curious to see how the next battle will be. And also hoping for Phantom to "Break the blue" (in that case, it means breaking her icy / confident attitude). |

| How is Kei supposed to fight against the Xi? He's had like a month's worth of combat sim training at most and even experienced fighter pilots have been shown to be unable to dogfight them. That was a nice trick he pulled against Phantom, though. I feel bad for Gripen, she is defective :( |

| Haruka puts out a cigarette...only to light up another one soon after... "He said you love me and you were mad that she was mean to the girl you loved!" Hahaha! Eagle's the best! And Haruka is a true man of culture! "I love daddy best, so we can't be together, but you made me really happy!" Aww...Eagle is so sweet... Lol they tried to put a delay program on Phantom's simulator and she cleared that like nothing. Separate controls...hehehe...Well that is a first for Phantom. She had no knowledge about it... "I want you to pilot the daughter." In other words, Gripen does the shooting while Kei does the flying? Oooh...a Viper Zero. It only becomes active to defend the base eh. I wonder who pilots it... Ahahaha! Phantom knows how to trick Eagle. Eagle is so fun. Eagle is definitely capable of engaging the Xi attacking the fleet, but will Kei and Gripen be good enough to deal with that large number of incoming Xi to protect Phantom? Well I still want to see how well Phantom handles herself in a fight. |

| Poor Ming Hua, she does not know Kei is currently amassing a harem of airplane girls or zai girls? Just kidding. xD Anyway, Kei is risking his life almost every episode now - deserves the hug from Eagle. ^^ |
| The duel feels rushed, but I'm glad Phantom lost. I like her defeated expression. But she asked for Kei to pilot since Gripen's abilities are low. And that hug thou. Minghua got jelly. Then phantom tricked Eagle into separating from the group and fighting another Xi. Eagle is such a adorable airhead. That Viper got me interested. I wonder if we'll see the anima. |
| Nice move Kei , you intentionally cheated, knowing that Phantom will detect it and correct it while unknown to her that it was jaz a roost to misdirect her from noticing that you'll be doing the fighting. |

| I expected that Kei & Gripen was able to defeat Phantom on the mock battle simply just because of switching pilot controls huh... I wanna see how Viper Zero performs against a horde of Xi... 4/5. |

| So now Kei will pilot the Anima, or atleast a part of it. I want to see how he performs at a dogfight. Now that F-2 is just good looking. |

| An easy win in the battle royal one on one by Kei, obviously. Phantom plans got rekted, because, yeah, its our hero Kei to solved every problems. Yet, the explanations in the next scenes quite hard to understand, i still get excited to see how the next real battle happen. I see more cute moment when Eagle do hug! Damn those girl, so funny, so i prolly got jealousy while that Kei always had fun, ffs. So, new Anima got reveal? The Zero Viper? Nice design art for that aircrafts, to be honest. A strong purple color to strength the masculinesm efect. Nice. |
