DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, this episode turned more tense than I had thought especially for the first few minutes. The music brings out a bit of the dramatic effect too. We got the return of the dragon girl! |

| Somehow the part after ED was more interesting than the main one. Like all they did there is running while dragon girl was sick and nothing really happened. After ED they showed at least a bit of emotional conflict and the interactions between girls were nice. Anyhow, it wasn't anything special, just cute. |

| It's pretty sad when an episode of a short feels too long and drawn out. Overall pointless, but the last bit was kind of cute I guess.. The first episode was better. |

It's one of those anime where I wonder if the screenplay writer just doesn't really get how to make things entirely sensible for first-time viewers or if they're just trying to pack too much into one thing because of pressure from a producer or source author. The post-ED part was actually more of a concrete, understandable story with actual character development and it was only a couple minutes long... anyway, I like Grea and Anne, so I'll keep watching to see how things unfold... |

| Safe to say this series exists for the sole purpose of fanservice with one character. I guess the creators of the Bahamut games/anime series just wanted to keep relevant. |

Well right, but my issue is that the show flip flops; I went in expecting a relaxing slice of life where I could ship the girls together, and so far both episodes have had these tone shifts that are a bit confusing. Until the Post-ED part, that is, which is the kind of consistent tone I'd like the whole show to have since it seems to do that well. I'm just analyzing why I felt how I felt about the episode though, not really nitpicking. I thought both episodes were paced a little too fast, and I think that might be a recurring problem, but it's not a train wreck or anything and I think I'll still enjoy it :D |
