Lots of violence, rape and comedy, exactly what you would expect from a delinquent series, pretty decent start. |

| Not what I expected - not as bad as it looked like it was going to be at first, and turned out to be fairly entertaining. Sometimes hard to get used to the animation (particularly the exaggerated mouths with the wacky / sad faces) - but for its age, not too bad. Would like to have seen more characterization (like, does the MC have *any* combat training whatsoever, to explain why he isn't trashed in every fight?), but it's an action/comedy, so character development isn't as important, I guess. And the treatment of women was pretty poor: Typical for this kind of show, and for its age... but still something that detracts from my enjoyment. Still... I'm interested to see where the MC and his new friends go from here, and I plan to watch more of the series, so I guess overall for me this episode was on the plus side of average. |
