| Damn, I honestly didn't expect Chotto Ippai! to get this dramatic, but at the same time I definitely welcome it. Seeing Chiyuri's reaction to her mistake was rough - as someone who had similar experiences with jobs in the past, I can completely relate to her. Once you make a mistake like that for the first time, you know it's possible for it to happen again, and trying to move on from that is often hard. Sakki did say to the girls afterwards that she thought Chiyuri may have taken it a bit too hard, but admittedly that doesn't really match up with how strongly she reprimanded her at the time. Being told (even in a veiled way) that you could be fired if you don't improve is a sobering experience, to say the least. Still though, great chapter, and I know Chiyuri will get her confidence back soon and come back better than ever. Edit: I also loved that Nagisa was brave enough to speak up and admit her part of the blame. It's true that Chiyuri should have taken care of the fridge regardless of what else was happening, but recognising your faults and striving to improve is always healthy. |
