| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This was a pretty crazy volume, what with all the mind games and tactics during the matches. Especially the last match with Ayumu. Seeing Ginko in a dress, and Charlette kissing Yaichi was really cute, and the scene with the letter was quite touching. The next opponents for the Ai's haven't been announced yet, but it seems like Keiko is going to lose for the first time in a while. It's a nice touch that Yaichi was preparing to get her a present for turning pro in the Review Session at the end, even though she can only turn pro by defeating Rina Shakando, which I really doubt she can do. |
| Damn, that's a lot of matches.And the Ryuo qualifiers is probably the most intense. Playing for 19 hours is just something I could only do playing DOTA but games like Shogi/chess that requires a high level strategic game, I don't think I could stay on focus for that long. But still, the miejin wasn't completely that impenetrable as he did slipped up a tiny negligible mistakes but his overwhelming talent is enough to compensate anyway so I'm looking forward if Yaichi could hold him down. I love how Ginko roasted Yaichi for hiding an ex-girlfriend and then Ai joined her too XD. Gotta say, her duel with the empress was hype as well, although I wonder if the result would have been different if only the empress had taken Ai seriously from the get go. And as usual, Kei have the most toughest road, but I do have a small hope for her. |
