| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ibuyas life is full of extreme ups and downs, now he has to try himself as a role model. It was pretty amusing to see how the common citizens gave him a hard time xD But it didn't take long until we got back to drama mode again. Ryoans death was handled very subtle, yet it was a very powerful scene. This show just knows how to push my buttons. |
One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron |
| I like the peasant soldiers that Ibuya is training now. They sure are a handful for a stiff guy like him but at the same time I think that'll be a good combination and he might loosen up a bit in the process. Oseki going to the nunnery definitely blindsided Ibuya, the poor guy. But she seems very resolute and determined about her decision so tough luck for him. Meanwhile Tezuka's dad dying was another pretty sad development although it was pretty obvious that it was going to happen so it's not as much of a shock as some of the other deaths in the show. Still, Tezuka's firm reaction and then crying alone afterwards was a pretty strong scene. |

| Kinda sad to see Oseki go into the nunnery which makes Manjirou regret becoming a samurai, good thing he now takes command over the peasant soldiers who can cheer him up. Also sad to see the old doctor Ryousen die but at least surrounded by the people who cared for him |
