Bending spoons...that's one of the oldeset psychic tricks in the book.

Personally, I thought this episode wasn't creepy but it did feel kinda thrilling. Those three girls got quite a jump scare after opening the door and saw that creep. Also, a scarecrow at the cementary? That's not something you'd see everyday.

the first half is not scary, it makes me curious what the hell is Tsunako power actually. and it’s funny seeing supernatural club isn’t even ready for any supernatural activities, they just like “WTF” when something happen. good boy Tsunako for bringing entertainment for supernatural club.

props for the action with all of those laser shooting, evading and jumping, i wish this was longer though, like just make it one episode.

and for the second half, i still kinda confused on what’s really happening. it’s like the scarecrow looking for revenge, maybe they want to bring the one that made them died with them. but the girl scarecrow is just kissing him...

The first story was the least liked of mine in the series so far. It was lackluster and didn't have that chilling factor and it was more like a slice-of-life supernatural genre. The second one however I found interesting. It would have been creepier if they showed him being buried beside her and his soul becoming a scarecrow too, ending it with them holding hands. WoOOooOOoo~~

rip one more episode, I cant believe we prob wont get either of Flesh Coloured Horror, Long Hair in the Attic, the Bully, Hanging Ballons (like seriously? please dont leave this story behind) and another Oshikiris or Crossroad Pretty Boy.
Good 'ol classic horror story like House of the Deserter or the Will would be good for a closure though

The first half is really a weird pick for this series...
I was hoping to see some other recurring characters return before the end of the series like Souichi did, but that seems very unlikely now.

the second half was okay, but I think they fucked up the execution just right at the end.

I would say this is the weakest episode imo. The first story was not scary or even a bit creepy, it was just weird. Some of them got powers all of a sudden. The laser shooting was amusing. The execution for the second story was not good. It was interesting at first, but it could've been done better.

I definitely didn't find this episode that scary or slightly scary the first part with tsukano was interesting especially tsukano himself. his personality just throws me off especially how everything just fascinates him and then things just got weird with the super powers I was almost expecting a mob psycho like fight to happen.

the second part seemed interesting but it ended too quickly. hell the part with the boy scarecrow made me think that the scarecrows will kill their killers but then you have yuki and she killed her lover or rather she made her lover join her. I really wanted to see him get turned into a scarecrow too and the father too see that his daughter is finally happy.

now were down to one final episode please be a good one to end the season because I'm certain this will get another season.

It wasn't a creeepy episode but it was kinda nice. I really liked the scarecrows. It's sad that this show is going to end so soon. It would have been great to have at least 24. Let's hope master Junji's works will have another great season!

Yes, The supernatural transfer student was one story i was hoping to see. It was really good and i think nothing was cut from it.

People saying this episode was not scary have to understand something...not all of Ito's stories are scary or meant to be. Take for example Jigokusei Remina (Hellstar Remina) which is a story about the end of the world. Although this can be a very scary thing (the world ending without anyone being able to do anything against it) the story is more interesting than scary. You won't feel a scary atmosphere or anything like that.

You can easily see that Ito sometimes make stories that are meant to be just interesting (i personally think all of his stories are interesting that's why i like him so much) and not scary. The supernatural transfer student is one of them.

I don't know if it's the anime version that want this, or the work of Junji Ito itself (since I have never read one of his manga), but I'm always super frustreted at the lack of answers. Like, what really are Tsunako powers? Does he even have some? What were the scarecrows trying to do, exactly?

But, anyway, I still liked both stories. Tsunako was crazy, but honestly one of the most interesting characters in the series so far. Second story seemed to be going on great as well, but the end really felt rushed.

Dude The enigma of Amigara fault is NOT part of this collection of stories. It's NOT going to be adapted.
The enigma of Amigara fault is a story included in the second volume of Gyo..so yeah you can forget it, it's not happening.

There is not. I liked his story too, it's really interesting, but sadly it's just one chapter.

The first part was totally... something (like someone has already said). In the end, it left me with more questions than answers. Nevertheless, I found Tsukano's personality really enjoyable tbh.

And the scarecrow story was interesting at first but I didn't get what happened in the end, I mean, one scarecrow was angry with the one who killed him but there was Yuki, who didn't seem to be mad with her lover but even so, she "killed" him... maybe she wanted him to become an scarecrow like her and be together but idk...

First story wasnt fully explained :( I kinda liked some elements in it. Mysterious student who is passionate about occult comes in, amazed about everything. Shows it to his club members
They find some eyeballs plants(that werent even explained, like why eyeballs? :D)
They find waterfall that leads to super powers(Why? and how?)
I did like that betrayal tho, pushing off his friend cause you are jealous of the attention he gets(TV and stuff) and cause he has superpowers that you dont, and get the superpowers yourself. Now its obvious why the guy attacked him when he came back as a rotten fat drooling corpse.
But then i didnt realize why MC left LOL, he liked wrecking the havoc and then he was like: "Uhmmm, yeah guys, thats it, off to the next town, aloha" xD
Y-yyeeaah, not sure what was the point of the story.

Second one was freaking creepy, hate scarecrows >_< such creepy things. Loled tho how quickly the girl accepted her husband death to a scarecrow. WTF? are all guys there mental? xD

I can almost guarantee that the last episode is going to be "The Hanging Balloons." If you didn't know, late last year a Junji Ito short story collection called "Shiver" was released. So far, 8 of the 9 stories have been in the anime, those stories being:
1. Used Record
2. Shiver
3. Fashion Model
4. Marionette Mansion / House of Puppets
5. Tomie: Painter
6. The Long Dream
7. Honored Ancestors
8. Greased / Glyceride
The 9th story in the collection is The Hanging Balloons (titled "Hanging Blimp" in this collection), so I'd honestly be surprised if they didn't do it. Personally, I really wanted "The Enigma of Amigara Fault," but I don't think it's gonna happen; it saddens me, because even though it's not part of "Fragments of Horror" or "The Horror World of Junji Ito Collection," it's still widely considered one of his greatest stories, and personally it's the story that got me into Ito's work in the first place.

I really hope that Hanging Balloons is next. I also hope that they don't cut half of the dialogues.

Although i like The Enigma of Amigara Fault a lot, i don't understand why so many people are fixed on that story specifically. Maybe it's because that story kind of have a "more conclusive end" (at least we know what happens to the people who enter in those holes) and it's really creep.

If i were to chose a one chapter story outside of the collection to be animated i think i would go with Precipice of the Unknown. Maybe this story is not so well know, but i think it's really good and can be really scary too.

This new episode of Dragon Ball Super looks weird >_>

OT: Probably the weakest episode of the series so far. The first story started out quite promising with the eyeball flowers and the transferred student being the cause of it all, but it rapidly fell in comidic absurdity. The second story i dont even know what the hell it was aiming at...

The first, when appears a new strange young, is a little common, but the second the scarecrow on the tombs was amazing, the deaths reincarnation in the scarecrow, although the idea was nice, it wasn´t development totally!!!

First story was bullcrap. Started nice but went downhill really soon. Simply the worst episode so far. What a shame. Tsunako is such a boring, cliche character. Doing shit for lulz. He is nowhere close to Souichi. The story was also lame.

The second one was nice, but it was directed pretty sloppy. Mainly because of the fact that shitty first story took way too long.

Do not get me wrong. This episode felt totaly unfinnished for me. But the question you asked? Are you even watching the show?

What were his powers? Creating super natural shit in a moment. He probably needed more time to create something bigger like waterfall. His whole purpose was to wreck shit. When he was "found out' by the girls he decided to leave. He defenitely had powers - "I could not agree" when the other guy wanted to JOIN him. Self-explanatory. The other guy was supossed to have some "sixth sense" and he followed Tsukano because he also want to play this game.

The scarecrow part was pretty easy. The girl "killed" the guy because she wanted to be together with him - the dream was about being together forever. That`s what marriage is - till death do us part. But she wasn`t dead. She wanted to be with him hence the kiss. Her father understood this in the end.

Hm. Yeah, okay. I probably didn't well formulated my questions. I watched French sub, not English and, maybe it's only me, but, at some moments, I felt like it wasn't really him that had powers. That stuff just happened around him, but not really on his own will. Less at the end, but, still. And his power does seem quite complicated anyway, to say the least. He has the power to create a waterfall that give people powers and revive the deads? Create lake and monsters? What is the extent of his powers exactly?

For the girl scarecrow, I got it. Same for the other scarecrow that killed his killer. What I mean was, had the other scarecrows a purpose? Or where there just... here to be here, host the soul of the deads and nothing else? Probably the second, but I still asked myself the question.

Has anyone noticed Kitagawa appearance similarity with Light Yagami (Death note) ? In the moment when he said that he see spirits ( also possible connection with Death note-Shinigami). If manga story wasn´t older than Death note i would say it is an easter egg, but so interesting coincidence.

Shibayama turned plus size from all that magic water.

Junji Ito is a bit fan of romance and couples in his works. I kinda like it but sometimes it feels a little forced or sudden.
