| Kino's Journey from 2003 was a very special anime that I love so much that I even wrote a review about it (https://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=264108). Basically, I love how it was able to give enough content every episode to digest, yet leave it open to much interpretation and discussion. The different themes, the roles both Kino and Hermes played, the settings, etc. were all aspects that also contributed to the overall enjoyment of the series. So when we get a remake that manages to do everything the original did worse in nearly every aspect, I have to wonder what in the world went wrong, and is this a common problem with anime produced today, What're your thoughts? |
