A maid character~
It's like a character from an anime coming to life in an anime.

I kinda like the style of this episode, a like blend between fiction and reality. Gotta admire Minoa's determination to protect anime. Lol, I can't help but laugh a little at the Yugioh reference.

That ending gave me a chilling feeling.

There you have it watching to much anime will turn your world up side down.
Everything will turn into anime!!

Guess anime addiction will go out of control after this episode.
Anyway it's clear the drama for the final episode has started.

Okay that was a lot to take in poor Minoa. Also when they rewinded and I saw the title I thought I was possibly just always misreading the name thank you Neko-Senpai for helping me realize that it wasn't me.

This was a very weird episode. Pretty much everything became an anime. Everyone thinks Minoa is crazy, but she's not. They got mad at her for rejecting anime. Things are out of control. Soon, the world would be engulfed in anime. The ending was creepy.

"Yuiiching!"

Jokes aside i felt like this episode itself is like madoka magica rebellion.

So basically the purple moon in the op is referencing this final "arc" as well.

I was confused AF from beginning to end tbh, like wtf was actually going on LMAO
Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!

Goes to show that this is probably the most underrated anime of the season, it's really been a great ride since ep 1, and I'm sure people who have watched enough anime to understand all the references would enjoy the hell out of it, if it weren't for the low rating of course...

I'm in the middle of this episode and I feel an urge to comment.
What happened to this anime?! I liked it because it was "anime is actually good and can bring people together" kind of animation. But for a few episodes now, it seems like creators lost interest in their own series and were like "ok, they watched most of the episodes, now put some random things, they'll comlete the series anyway".
Actually, only Minoa being in coma could possibly save this show now. I am really, really disappointed. And whatever might happen next, it won't satisfy me at all. It was such a good anime and it destroyed itself.

They are aiming for this since the first ep. All of this has been carefully foreshadowed in past eps.

Oh, rewatch the first ep. and notice the man who picked up the beret at the end.

I rethought everything after watching the whole episode. But I decided not to edit my comment because I still think they did it incorrectly. Of course it's only my opinion, but they should've showed us that it's not about reality but reality mingled with fiction. In my opinion, they failed.

Animegataris Episode 11 Impressions:

I am pretty speechless. This anime is going to self-aware meta-levels beyond what Re:Creators did this year. 4th wall jokes and character art styles are changing. Everything about the world and characters has accepted anime as a religion, except Minoa. If there is anything to be complained about, it is that I wanted more anime madness crammed in this episode. Maybe the last episode will go 100% haywire. How can Minoa, the most sane character in the series, be able to stop the anime apocalypse? Let Animegataris end with a BANG! There is not much left I can say because this series is not focusing on friendships between anime otakus and very interesting tidbits about the anime industry/community/events anymore. Rather, absurd chaos is the direction the anime chooses to go, which I am ok with. Waiting for next week is going to feel like an eternity for me now. Yuuiching!

An Otaku is suppose to love anime, manga, games, support their type of series that fits the gernes, support their favorite anime that they love, support the their favorite canon couples, support their favourite characters, support their idols, making these things smile as they ease their pain away, and form friendship and love due to the things that they have in common. Even if there are people and reality that looks down on us, even if we we're worry about what's going to happen in each and every episode due to having anime nervous procrastination so,there are true friends along with the ones they truly love who accept us and our otaku hobbies for who we really are, so there is no need to worry nor hiding our true selves anymore as long as we love those things as a otaku. Because otakus love these things, they have their own imagination, ideas, and creativity to make their own anime, manga, games, becoming a top true idol or top pro cosplayer while making their dreams and hopes come true along hard work, effort, believe in their friends, family, the ones that they truly love, understand the feelings of others and for themselves, and believing in themselves! That is what true otakus really are!

Minoa, believe in your feelings, believe in your love ones, and believe in yourself, purify those who are obsessed with loneliness and hatred, and save the world and the world of otaku from being corrupted and destroyed! Go for it, Minoa!

The final arc is definitely way more interesting than the club-school closure arc.
But Nakano is very boring, and it ruins both this arc and the previous arc.
They've been cooking a dud since like episode 4, but dud is dud. If there's someone that should be blamed... is the one who designed him as a character (I wasn't talking about his visual appearance, I was talking about who made him like that.)

At first I thought this episode is just Minoa's dream.
But when they return to opening...
I was like "I totally don't get what's going on here".
At that talking cat! Yeah... is so strange since series without him is slice of life series.
But... wow! I can't wait to see next eposode!

Holy shit, this show just cranked it up to 11. This was some crazy ass deep meta type stuff.

Literally this episode in a nutshell:

Then the actual director of the show arrives, is he the final boss? It looks like he's the one who found the hat that Minoa lost in episode one. It must have some kind of power to control anime itself! And Nakano is actually an anime character that came to the real world? The door in the club room must be a portal or something.

Will Minoa embrace the power of anime and defeat her enemies and use it to go back to the real world? Now this is getting really interesting. Can't wait to see how it finishes.

Holy crap this episode just went full out crazy and meta LOL. It was hilarious just to see all the things that happened, even if they made no sense - the art style shifts, the OP playing again (and again!), the director guy, the resolution ... yeah, this episode was just really wacky :P I'm still a bit confused as to what the heck is Kouki's deal, but well, I guess if they're not going for any sort of plot they might as well make this show end with a bang ... literally XD

OH MY GOODNESS!
i'm totally shocked! what an episode! what had i watched this season!

had any of u ever called in mind that this show is not just some cute girls having afternoon tea and talking about anime neta?
have u ever watched something that changes from slice-of-life comedy to horror mystery all in a sudden?
OMG... its like, im sitting in the couch with chips in my hand, watching haiyore nyaruko-san for relaxation, and suddenly the tv starts to broadcast Matrix or The Truman Show! following the movie my mind begins to run and the more it runs the more i start to fear!

all neta becomes of no means. though we all know that ART IS EXPLOSION (and neko-senpai knows it too, obviously), the real explosion for this episode is that minoa realizes that shes in an anime. shes watching her anime world just as i do. it reminds me the fear and shock when i first played the stanley parable. it suddenly becomes horrifying that the line between the world inside the cellphone screen and the world outside it has somehow vanished. i myself becomes the one controlled by the producer.
it may not work. it may not succeed. it may not be accepted by audiences. maybe the fund from chinese investor gave them the courage to try something different.

this episode has no topic, and the series title changed from anime-gataris to anime-gataras. the original title 「アニメ語りず」 can be tranlated to "talks about anime" since gataris is the plural form of gatari. however 「語らず」 is the negative form of 「語る」, so the new title anime-gataras (「アニメ語らず」) would be tranlated to "NO talk about anime". that name just fits the collapse of main character's world.
every detail has its means. the writer put it there with a well-done camouflage. i have never thought that the beret cap would be used in this way. and i even didnt realize that the topic has changed. i was just about to conplain why this episode played the OP three times, until the very last second. the producer knows that many people skip the OP, so they specially played it again in the middle. the last scene of neko-senpai is more like revealing the answer in the end: "did u find it?" i immediately went back to alice's "playback scene" and began to doubt my vision. how could i miss it?

after episode 9, the real plot of this show seems to begin floating up. at that time i posted my feelings (not in MAL): "this show wasted too much time before, especially in the almost whole 9th episode. the real story could have begun earlier. now if it dont give me a satifying end to the main story, i would give it a low rating." after episode 10 i even doubt more if it can finish in a reasonable and acceptable way. but this episode simply overturns everything. i dont know what will happen since it just has one episode left, but only for this episode, i must take off my caps. to me, its the biggest shock from anime since the last episode of steins;gate.
final verdict: 5/5

I now sympathize Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club even more after this episode. Minoa experiencing what Monika experienced is truly depressing and horrifying.

I totally called it. I knew Nakano was an anime character from another anime when that picture of him not aging showed up.

we're having cocaine, driving a car with no brakes, speeding down the hill towards the hell.

A lot of us saw this coming but still it hit us like a truck. Episode 1 already showed us signs. In episode 9 there were definite hints. All doubts got thrown out the window in episode 10 but we we're still hoping that our theories were wrong cause it would be a scary thought. Then this episode happened. I saw this coming from the moment someone said the world is ending is in the description and when I saw Minoa running from a bunch of anime characters in the opening song.
It was definitely like the Matrix, Doki Doki Literature Club & The Truman Show.
