| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lmao, this episode was silly. The poses and "love" attacks...of Universe 2...wow. Out of all the fights in this tournament so far, I find this episode's to be the sillest. Good to see some Android 17 in action though. Helles (Universe 2's God of Destruction) is also quite a character with pride. More were dropped this week. 17 is just so damn awesome. |

| The dragged out transformations extremely annoyed me, but this episode made up with a lot of 17 action. He's quite good, but I have the feeling he will loose the fight against the boss idol. There are still 39 min left and next week is finally Gohans turn. |

| Not going to lie, I laughed hard when 17 first blew them up in mid transformation, started talking to Goku about it, & then when the ladies went down there to talk to him about interrupting their transformation. Toppo coming in to back them up and how he understood about posing was hilarious. Well done Toei, the humor was appreciated. #17 was a beast this week & had the best moments. I can't wait to see what happens with Gohan & Piccolo next week. |

| I am fine with the magical girls genre joke taking a long time to transform, but there is no need to re-show the entire transformation process. They could easily shorten or cut it out. The reused animation for the God of Destruction of Universe 2 was frustrating to see. Like seriously they really had to use the same sequence 3 times in 1 single episode. It is ridiculous how lazy and cheap Toei is, ruining the most hyped arc of DBS. |
| I don't know how I feel about this episode... did not like it very much. Animation was good but the directing... Funny moments were not funny... had to watch the same transformation twice... serious moments didn't feel serious and some parts felt a bit rushed, especially the ending... could've really dragged it 10-15 seconds longer to let us feel Brianne's anger and sink it in. Felt like nothing to me And overall, ep felt childish. Missing the seriousness. Where's the tension? |

| I was laughing pretty hard at how 17 was like, "Wait, isn't this what we're supposed to do?" And all he could do was be confused speechless at everyone else willing to let someone possibly get the upperhand. Despite the reused animations, I thought this was an entertaining episode. Vakunsa honestly never stood a chance though if stamina is her thing. Stamina is 17's thing too in a whole other way.;; |
| This was great! DBZ was always a mix of goofiness and action, and Super is no different. Really loved 17 not giving a shit about their transformation...just a dash of satirical mockery at magical girls. Sadly, I predict he will be knocked out next episode, by Big Fat Ethel herself... |
| Damn, did they really have to redo the whole transformation scene? What a waste of time! Nevermind, 17 is savage asf but let's be honest... He did what ANY character is supposed to do! Why would you allow the enemy to transform, specially when it's defenseless?? xD And even if RiBrianne is angry, 17 is just there like "U mad, sis?" lol But the girls proved to be tough if 17 had to be serious. And Vegeta didn't punch RiBrianne because of... obvious reasons :P Next episode finally gives Gohan and Piccolo some major screentime! |

| Episode 102 has great animation, I wish DBS animation is always like this, the transformation is ok, but when they repeat it from the start, it kinda annoys me and feels like this episode will be boring, thanks to 17 being badass it made episode 102 totally awesome~ 4/5 |

| I'm having mixed feelings with this week episode.. They kept reusing the same scenes and wasted so much time with the transformation. Vegita's scene was pretty funny and so was Android 17. Other than that, a very disappointing episode. |

| Lol I'm so glad android 17 interrupted the annoying universe 2 magical girl characters while they were transforming and managed to knock one of them out because their presence in this episode makes this the worst DBS I ever watched.get that magical stuff outta here. |

Moreover, she was bent forward, covering her nonospot the facial expression and the camera-focus on the face was so emphasized. |

| 17's logic was perfectly sound. The others complaining about it was very much an eye-roll moment, intended or not. Obviously the heart gas attack had no effect on Goku because Goku's too dumb to even know what a kiss is. It's getting somewhat annoying to see Goku "struggle" with obvious C-listers while another fight gets focus. Just have him toss people around in the background until Jiren decides to actually fight him. We know Goku's at least top 5 of the fighters there. Dik42o said: Roshi was a boss and mastered his weakness of women. Well to be fair, Roshi's weakness was attractive women. Pretty sure these ones don't apply (at least the main one). |
| This tournament so far has been such a letdown. It was a mistake to make 90% of the characters be a freaking fodder. Half of them did not even show one freaking move. That vampire looking girl had a great design, and she was wasted so fast that there is nothing else to say that it probably took more time to make her then her time was spent in the show. I like magical girls, did not have the problem with this. But people are dick riding 17 like he is so badass (the guy for starters does not even act like himself, but fans like writers have forgotten that), and for what? If those girls tossed out entire universe and then he defeated one, I would say that it's cool. But if they are defeating their opponents with such a ease I feel no investment in the actual fights. The stakes are high, yet I don't feel like everyone is giving their all. If fact I'm starting to root for other Universes to toss someone from U7 out as they are too strong. This is a battle royale? It's just U7 and U6 vs people who are waiting their turn. DB franchise was always among my favorite as villains were so strong they were always a threat to our heroes. DB Super seems to forget that. Now the fans will be all like ''Black Goku arc was a threat!''. Yeah but it took another damn Goku and immortality wish to pose some threat. This is starting to look like Fairy Tail, where good guys are just winning all the time. I hate when they create characters for the sole purpose to make other character look great. Those Pride Troopers last episode, still can't get over it. Half of them were tossed just like that only to show how Saiyans are still hax. There is no tension in these episodes, aside for Piccolo and Tien, who are my favorites, and the fear that they will be tossed before getting a decent 3 minute fight like Krillin did. So far it's been a decent setup but terrible execution. Priest said that only strong characters remain and the battles will be more tense. It was a lie. P.S. Gohan said that they should split up now? WTF, I was waiting for a moment when team up will come in handy so that they will say ''Told you we should stick together'' but it seems like that was pointless. Or maybe Gohan felt that individual character focus episode are coming so they should split up. lol, the writing in this show is awful. |

Well, most the tournament gonna get better when most of the Fodder is gone, I cant expect that the other gods were able to find the strongest people from their universe in only 48hours time. Goku already had everyone in mind and he almost didnt make it in time. Black Goku arc is the only real arc we had so far, U6 tourney wasnt serious at all but it was fun and introduced new characters, so only 1 arc with 1 real enemy was introduced so far, we will get more for sure, I hope. In the subs I watched the Priest said that almost all the weak characters were gone and when that happens the tournament was gonna start to get interesting. Gohan Only said that because of the attacks they were throwing and that Smoke, so Split to dodge the smoke seems fine to me. |

| 39 mins left, 32 combatants out, 48 remained. I skipped the 2nd transformation part when I saw it coming. Toppo's been a "justice maniac" from the start, so I liked his enthusiasm about the transformation. Other than that part, it was slightly funny, but unnecessarily dragged out. They really could have made it shorter, cutting out a few parts. Vegeta was disgusted by her face (probably). Cringe first part, but that #17 was epic! I never cared too much about side-characters, but recently I got quite hyped for many characters because of all of the epic fights recently. I am surprised that it's been only 9 minutes since the start. I've been thinking that they might will have a separate Goku vs Jiren fight, because the time would run out, but it won't happen like this. Except if this arc's going to have another 40-50 episodes. I do not understand why Gohan and the others now want to fight individually. They could have kept their formation. At least next week we're getting a Gohan episode, which is nice. By the way, some info about episode 104 is out. |
| Honestly, this was the worst episode of the tournament of power so far. The first half was so boring, quite nothing happens besides that sailor moon style entries and silly poses. I only enjoyed the C17 fight and I miss that Goku that could be serious at fighting and by the risk of getting eliminated with his friends. I'm just disappointed we have to handle this sailor moon fighters of universe 2 one more episode. At least it seems we will get a little bit of Gohan and Piccolo, I'm looking forward to it. Hope they' ll still show us more of Tien as well. |

| oh and another episode wasted.. Thank god we have C17 with his cold attitude back. Why cant they just kick the annoying weaklings out and start the fights everyone is looking forward to? I remember how hyped everybody was when they announced the tournament and now all we have is garbage fights. They transformed 2 times to save budget and then they didnt even deliver a fight but are just again random filler characters. I really had the impression after Goku told c17 to let them transform he was thinking something like "Why do I want our universe to survive again?" (Sadly future trunks is no more, would have been great moment for fanservice - Goku tells C17 to let them transform, C17 and C18 looking over to trunks XD because Cell arc if you dont get it) I expected Frieza to be the man of this episode but hey C17 works as well. PS: 39 mins left they really are on namek again. PPS: Why cant zeno chan not just allow killing opponents. They get erased anyway.. Frieza could have killed all of them and we wouldnt have to wait.. If this season wouldnt be so garbage I would have dropped this now. |
