| Probably one of the better episodes in this anime...but...that's not saying much so... Strange music in this episode it had a Dracula-esk organ sound...just a weird anime and I don't really know what to say anymore...it's almost over I guess so...that's something |

| This was my favorite episode by far. The whole point of this series was to mimic the old pulp fiction style short stories. This is directly from the description before the MAL Rewrite and from the creator "The anime seeks to evoke the retro atmosphere of pulp horror stories that were popular in the 60s and 70s in magazines." This episode had the ever popular crazy scientist, animal/human mutation, and scantily clad woman. Also loved the art style, it fit perfect. Was it on the ridiculous side? Yes, but thats how pulp fiction rags were so it pulled it off great. |

| Those "human-fishes" looked like comedians for those B&W fantasy/horror movies. 3/5 Perfectly in theme, but nothing more. |
| Loved the classic 50s sci-fi horror feel of this one! The evil doctor was great, and his reasoning was the classic reasoning of a madman who goes too far to attempt to right a wrong. |
