| This dialogue is pretty terrible. Shengohara has some pretty witty lines in this chapter, but I just can't stand Agaragi's responses. I find a creative line followed by a blunt line to be particularly jarring, though it does seem to be pretty common in anime writing. That said. The humor involving the symbols and underlines was genius. I wasn't expecting such clever joke that makes use of the fact it's a novel in this series. |

| volume 1, chapter 4, hitagi crab 004: "My inappropriate remarks are an alloy of 40 grams copper, 25 grams zinc, 15 grams nickel, 5 grams bashfulness, and 97 kilograms malice." Senjogahara's lines are really clever, this chapter was good, but not as good as the last one. Still enjoyed it though |
