| This one doesn't make much sense somehow. Especially in the flash back when Tanya was still Platoon commander yet they were wearing the new unit uniforms. And I know these shorts are more based on the novel than the main show. However, all the other episode can kinda fit into the cannon of the main show, this one just can't. |
| Courtesy to a random Youtuber for explaining this one. The joke here is lost in the anime. In the Light Novel she doesn't use a rifle in the fight scene shown in episode 2 (when she is 8 years old) because her body is too small and the kick is too strong (this also explains why she gets so close to the enemies in that fight, to be able to cast her spells), although she does start to use one regularly in the Rhine theater (when she is 10), mostly as a tool to snipe from high above making use of the abilities of the T-95. I would imagine the one she took from that guy in episode 7 is more in accord with her size, hence why she started carrying it all the time now. |
