I noticed how serious this season has become although it still has bits of comedy added for comedy. Whatever the case, Ouriku's role this season has really matured and imo, he can even be a tactician. |

| With the introduction of Intelli Tax Office, it starts the political and social dark humor of this arc. But I wonder how Rei managed to fly in their performance, as she is supposed to nullify any magical power....or lets just pretend she was standing :P As a side note, when Ou Riku appears as the Grand Master, he is supposed to have modified the shape of his skull to change his face. | Ouriku dressing as a woman made me think of Cloud doing that in Final Fantasy VII. Lol Rei just destroying everyone, she didn't need much motivation either. That was a pretty good act they put there at the end. though it's not hard considering the lack of intelligence those villagers have. |

Not just the village tho, looks like most of the mortal in this series are half idiots. Remember how the guy talked about the sect making million off wealthy cities? That pretty much means they can even scam rich people, and most rich people are nobles that have higher education. So this means the education in this series is pretty weak and commoners have very little knowledge and will easily believe whatever they're told if they saw "magic" (Qi/ Reiki). Such as in previous episode the fatty just did a tiny Reiki flame on his fingers and the guards immediately believes he's a spiritual disciple. (heck, if modern people went up to them and fired off a lighter, I bet they'll think you're a God too, LOL) |

| Well, modern people usually consider god either don't exist or don't show miracles anymore, so it's easier to question magical acts. But in the universe of Reikenzan it's commonly known there exists cultivators who can perform magic and there are legends of those who ascended to immortals, and it is actually possible to allow common people cultivate in low level like Kotora. It's just people believe in what they want to. Actually you can take note that while villagers call Shu and gang "immortals", the people in town called Kain "cultivation master"(and Kain is clearly higher level). This actually shows the difference of knowledge between town and village. Ou Riku's father relucance to pay is also a sign of better knowledge. |

| I like this opera episode. Ouriku turn into girl, then beat of 7 gate leader there. Come up with a plan and being a master. All this drama is amusing. I don't think this is the serious one, to see Ouriku planned is kinda amusing. |
