And Anna Liebert arrives at Tokyo!!!!

Haha I'm really happy that I found out about this work!

I knew how much Urasawa-Sensei admired Osamu Tezuka's works and he always brings up his more famous works like Phoenix, Astro Boy etc. in interviews but I never knew how many parallels there were to this specific story!

Although I have to wonder whether those parallels in Monster were actually tributes to MW or just unconscious references he made by accident (after rereading Tezuka' works so many times) ?

In a strange way the relationships in Monster feel somewhat different know that I see the inspirations for those characters. For example the relationship between Anna and Tenma. Just going by Monster itself, it is obvious that she feels gratitude and affection for Tenma but there aren't any strong indications for romantic feelings. Now I wonder if there are?

Apart from all the Monster-related stuff; the chapter was by itself really exciting.

I really like Michio Yuki's character and it was nice to see him act on jealousy and openly declaring his feelings for Garai.
I enjoy the way he always teases the priest and yet I feel a little sad: Garai doesn't seem to trust Yuki's love confessions nor does he take Yuki's feelings and his constantly expressed desire of wanting to stay by Garai's side serious- He probably thinks that Yuki isn't even capable of loving someone or if he is or that he could only love someone as twisted as himself (?)

I wonder whether his plan is to let Garai "catch" him and Sumiko "in the act", so that he crush their potential romantic relationship and if he plans on killing the girl (to further upset the priest) or just let her lose her feelings for Garai by planting him as a criminal or making her herself look bad?

Garai, just kill him, I'm honestly astonished you haven't kill him already, I'm starting to suspect he's liking this whole affair.
