Very nice episode about Kawakami.

Pretty cool to see Azuma again, I like how they referenced Sawamura striking him out. xD

Kawakami struggles through his confidence issues and eventually gains faith in his pitching abilities.
Really liked how Takako's advice and Koishikawa's advice coincided. It was really nice how writing his feelings down in that book and receiving replies helped him gain confidence. Interesting how people can gain confidence from the simplest of things.
Loved it when he struck out Azuma, Sinker to the belly was hilarious. xD

I found it quite touching that Koishikawa saw her son in Kawakami.

Good wrap up to the OVA series.
8/10 overall.

It's hard not to hit that big belly.
Kinda sad with that ending, that poor mother.

I never really cared too much for Kawakami, but this was some nice insight into his growth. I would've never have expected him and Azuma to be that close haha.

This OVA makes it perfectly clear again how easy everything was for Furuya and how lucky he is having Eijun in the same school and year. Tanba and Kawakami didn't have an Eijun to support them whenever they mess up in games. That's why they can improve knowing they really have to step up for the team. I appreciate Kawakami a lot now because of this knowing how much confidence he lacks and still tries his very best.

Alas, you can see how Seidou lacks in the pitcher department indeed very clearly and how different Eijun is in comparison to the previous generations' first years.

Also, Miyuki is creepy as a first year lol I've noticed this in Mochi's ep as well

Nice episode about Kawakami. He definitely needs to work on his confidence.

Kawakami and Azuma made for a really likeable duo. Much more than I would’ve thought from the beginning of the series.

That cafeteria lady was really awesome in encouraging Nori like that, that was a beautiful message to him. I never expected it to be her though, I thought it would be Azuma or someone on the team. I did suspect it wasn't one of the manager's though.

Overall it was a good episode of Nori, but my favorite was the second one with Kuramochi. The first one about the Kominato brothers was okay though.

Wahhhh!! Nori T------T I'm rooting for you too!!
I thought it's Azuma senpai who wrote those messages, it's so sweet! I'm rooting for Nori all the way. I hope he get more shining moments too, still not enough for me..

Bittersweet reveal there on the cafeteria lady encouraging Kawakami as he reminds her of her dead son. Nice to see an episode focused on not so talented pitcher Kawakami especially him able to outstrike Azuma who despite his bully attitude cares a lot for the people he's harsh to.

I didn't expect the notes are from one of the canteen workers there. Thanks to her, her words are making Kawakami get better <3

We finally get some more focus on Kawakami.
Bittersweet ending, that poor mother losing her son.
